  1. It boosts no worries to 12psi before 3000rpms if i mash the pedal, but as I said it doesnt pin me back for a coupla seconds or more before it starts pulling. I think my controller is setup well, I noticed harder and faster boosting when I binned my stock dump for the jjr dump/ front..

  4. Forgot to add, yes it does it below 3000rpms - somewhere like in between 2500-3000 but once past that, it hauls, but it doesnt do it if I prod it light and bit firm, but if u mash the pedal, it will laugh at you first.. And turbo lag lol, not on my stock one..
  5. Oh thanks man, I will get that checked when I get it tuned again sometime after my turbo upgrade coming soon. It makes sense what u said, pulling timing or TPS not calibrated properly, man it honestly is slower than a light NA Corolla below 2500ish rpms. Slugboat. But once it gets going then its got its own thing. Also when going at say 50-60km/h in third gear and then suddenly giving it fast and hard throttle, it groans for a couple of seconds without doing anything, then it goes okay. But when giving it throttle gradually and nicely it flies hard like it really should..

Hey all just a quick question thats been bugging me lately, my car's always done this but now Im getting annoyed: Everytime during normal driving from standstill or even low speed, when I put my foot down firmly (but not mashing it) say half throttle, the lazy car hesitates for a second before it starts picking up momentum, a bit like a horse that turns around to say 'fk you' before moving when u prod it.. :S It takes a good second or maybe more of this before it picks up speed, my accelerator cable is tightened properly, idle is ok, dont think theres any vacuum leaks but dunno? Is this normal and anyone else experience this? What can I do to make it respond INSTANTLY? Cheers R

  9. If I get a R34 ecu, throw my Stagea ecu away and re- connect my Nistune board to my new R34 ecu, will I need to tweak the tune, and will there be any problems? Traction control lights up etc? I drove with an untuned manual R34 ecu for a week and honestly couldnt feel any difference between the stagea one, but im only around 200 rwkw
  10. Just been reading this and yes its just totally fked man, do u guys have GPS trackers on ur cars?? I think Im goin to get one pretty soon. What about removable steering wheels, do u remove the steering and take it with u, man thats a big lol!
  11. I was in the market for an s15 two years ago. Test drove 6 of them, mostly Jap spec ones and a couple of adm s15s which dont have any guts at all. Rubbish. The jap spec s15s go way better. Then I test drove one R34GTT. Fell in love instantly. Bought. So glad I didnt get an s15, I dont like the stereotypical image associated with them and the fact that it looks like a kid's car- very sleek n sexy n hoonish, the skyline is much more masculine, ugly, solid, and brutish and much nicer to drive. Depends what u want, the 34 was my choice and it rocks, would never look at an s15, an EVO yes, GT-Rs a much bigger yes, if only R34GTR prices topple..

  13. What ur talking about, my R34 is giving me 280kms on 55litres which comes to roughly 19.6 litres/100kms which is driving me nuts! Is this the most horrible fuel economy on SAU?? This was the last fill-up. Before that it came to about 16L/100kms, these were mostly highway kms. Stock turbo, short distance stop-start driving with the occassional few second squirt to 5-7k rpm. And this is even after my tune more than a year ago; before the tune, the economy was more or less the same, I thought the tune would fix it but it didnt, but power and driveablility is a LOT better though.

I agree with most of the suggestions, get a 3076R or Hypergear, I myself almost just bought a set of siemens deka 60lb injectors from ebay which are real cheap but all this talk on ID1000s sorta stopped me, then again I dont wana spend that big on injectors unless i have to so going to read more. The rest of my setup is complete except for the turbo, have the z32 AFM lying around and injectors will be soon for my R34. Then selecting the main bit, the turrbo..woot woot
  15. I remember when Toshi took out my stagea ecu to Nistune it, he supplied me a manual R34 ecu to use for a week till I get my original one back. I couldnt notice any difference in idling, accel, decel, power or anything, felt more or less the same, are the differences that noticeable?
  16. Hanaldo we shud have just swapped ecus man, I dont know why I have the stagea ecu in my 34, and yes traction control doesnt work of course.. Sometimes i feel like my car is as slow as a stagea boat haha..

  19. So when u disconnect the flexi pipe, how do u seal up the hole in the dump where that pipe goes? Is there a bolt that screws in like the O2 sensor?
  20. Oh man harleys sound like u got a helicopter hovering right over your head, they are so annoying, otherwise really really cool bikes..
  21. Illegal also because they release toxic fumes into the environment as they finish before the cat. As for noise I dont really know why bikes are getting away on the streets roarling more than three times as loud as our cars..

  24. Hey guys just trying to see how many of u run external gate setups in ur daily drivers or regular use skylines. Please say: • what gate u running, •if its plumbed back/screamer •if u been defected. Reason being im trying to decide if I should stay internal or run the risk of going ext gate on my daily R34 and risk defects, since I want to go screamer- actually I hate screamers but saw a coupla instances on the Kando thread that plumb backs reduced power considerably, hence no advantage of going external other than better boost control.
