R34 Gtt Spare Parts
rondofj replied to rondofj's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
thnx mate will have a look..cheeers -
G'Day fellows, can some people please point me where in Sydney I can find spare parts for the R34GTT, its just so damn hard to get a front right wheel splash guard for my 34! And the dashboard pocket on the right hand side below the vent. And where generally do you guys go to for spares, like if in an accident etc?? I know a couple of places in Smithfield, Just Jap Spares being one (they bloody closed on Saturdays!), SSS Automotive and a couple more dont know the name, but R34 parts r just so scarce!

And yeah as you said, in neutral, it revs freely to 6800rpm without the strange popping / interferrence, but I guess the ECU maps are different in neutral as opposed to in-gear.

hEY BRONX, I have a similar prob on my 34GTT, I have 3inch full turbo back zorst, pod filter in custom cold air box, boost set to 12psi with manual boost controller, short shift kit and thats it. Dunno if my ECU has been programmed to handle this boost by previous owner. Anyways my issue: My car revs sweetly all the way to 4800ish rpm ( full boost of 12psi kicks in at around 2500-3000rpm). Then from 4.8k to around 5200-5400rpm I get that sort of popping sound u talking of and no acceleration, like the car has suddenly become NA, dunno what boost it is on at this point, but theres just no feeling of boost/turbo at this band. Then from 5400 to 6800rpm the car REALLY flies - constant 12psi and smooth revving all the way ( it still never hits the 7000rpm redline but cuts off around 6800rpm???) Why dont I k\hit 7rpm? It really bugs me as to why it ( the flat spot / NA feeling and popping ) happens on this 4.8-5.4k rpm band ONLY, do you guys recommend I do the plugs - NGK Iridiums?? I'm sure its not the coil packs. I'm gona do a proper FMIC and NIstune next year though. cheers RON

HKS Exhaust - Price $249.00 o.n.o. Hi Guys, Up for sale is my HKS canon with diff-back piping off my R34 GT-T, It is the typical size with the 4.5" tip and 3.5" free flowing inner diameter. All brackets, flanges and bolts as on pics, will direct bolt straight onto a R34 GTT and GT-R without modifications; and surely onto the R33 GTS-Ts and GT-Rs as well as the R32s, although I cannot confirm this since I haven't tried. Note that the piping is from the back of the mid-muffler which is in front of the diff, and there is no cutting/welding required, except welding onto the mid-muffler of course. It is a very sweet sounding exhaust which is not loud and definitely no drones, good for cruising and when you open it up, it is a real screamer with a race tone that all RBs deserve. And of course with HKS quality you definitely do get what you pay for. Condition - used, in perfect working order. Throw some decent offers and I could go bit lower on price. cheers Ron

HEY NISSKID, Where in Sydney can I get some cheap 2nd Hand Jap rims for my 34? Only know of otomoto in North parra but they dont have anything I want at the mo. thanks Ron -
You don't really have to re-do the piping as the underbody between the Skylines are quite similar from what I have seen, some slight adjustment of piping may be required, depending on how you want the muffler fitted, and of course little alterations to the hangers is a possibility aswl, but for 34s, this is a straight bolt-on.
