  2. So u guys reckon out of these three kits - HPI, HDI GT Spec and Cooling Pro Stealth (turnflow), I would be better off with the HDI kit??? Please, I gotta make a decision asap and yes, aiming for 280-300rwkw, some people have said in the past that all these kits will support up to 300rwkw, some say 260-280 so it is a mixed bag. I gotta say the HPI kit looks top quality, it even has the nipple holes for the power steering hose. thanks, Ron
  3. thanks mate, thats impressive, didnt think the jjr stealth cooler could withstand 300KW+, what turbo r u running and what other mods?? Do you know your torque figure and what does it feel like on the street - ie low-mid range punch... cheers
  4. Who has installed a HPI Intercooler (not HDI Hybrid) on their r33 or r34 and what r their views on this kit?? Thinking of getting one - just jap have them : http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=16892&cat=339&page=2 Will the r33 kit fit the r34? cheers

Has anyone used these HPI kits and what are their views??? Please help me to decide between these three- the Blitz is to expensive. cheers

  12. The change after the ECU reset is just truly amazing - maybe cos my previous ECU settings were f**ked up - but give it a go.. the best 1minute job ever.

Sorry for hijacking - this could help u if its not TCS related - I had that infamous flat spot between 4700-5400 rpms, the car would also hesitate for a sec in fifth gear around 3rps when booting it, although my TCS doesnt work at all - no light on dash at all. Changed to 0.8mm gapped NGK copper plugs, left my standard coils in. No change to above problem. Then yesterday after reading a few bits on SAU, I reset my ECU - take off the battery terminals, stab the brake pedal a few times (brake light on/off) to drain off all the charge, then re-connect and go for a drive. I'm just amazed to say after the ECU reset - the flatspot is almost completely GONE, not only that, the car feels so fresh, crisp and very quick to rev and GO!!
