gday mate, honestly theres nothing worng with evos...basically i was over the excessive exhaust noise...bov...turbo etc...wanted a more luxury comfort ride but at the same time fast. you might not understand until you sit in one (v35) interior, exterior over i would say over rates the evos but its a big NO to performance. the evo 7gta goes around corners like there are rails on it. its more pimpin . at night the led tail lights looks outstanding and with the twin exhuast it finishes the whole car up making it look a little mighty grunt. cant wait for the carbon fibre kit!

rims are 19s rear tyres are 275s wide enough, guards may have been pumped will have to get spacers. took car out for cruise tonight... real fast for na and thats ns.

i get what you mean. i get the same feeling everytime now. like i said its more of luxury/sports machine then track race bred and yes the stock brakes are really good they stop almost instantly...glued. anyway here are a few pics i managed to get today...car has not been washed etc. willl get her cleaned and service shortly. has been lowered with sick rims. anyway when i get good shots ill post in photo area. thanks for everyones input and if you have the money purchase one its worth every penny...enjoy

i agree that blue/balck are the best colours for v35s. nope just for 1-2days...car has been sitting at dealer for almost a year so must be some others... car is less than 20k kms so still new and clean. has been lowered will post up some pics tonight. cheers.

brembo brakes apparently were an option in the sports range so fourth... couldve/ve been added in mine but previous jap owner was too cheap to option it in. so basically no brembo and no sunroof =( also ill have to get everything converted to english and aus spec...dvd/nav/mp3/dvd screen/buttons etc will be looking at $3k range. my eyes are now on the 350z forum for brembos =) but then again the ones on it atm works really good compared to my pevious r33 with dba 4000series and track pads.

hey guys, just bought a v35 coupe from evo 7 and only came with one key (the one with lock/unlock and boot release...where can i get a spare one exactly like it? nissan? or do i have to get one from japan? also regards to jap-english and to get my dvd working i have a few questions. mine has the dvd navigation in top glove compartment does this mean its only for navigation or plays dvd movies also? i know chris roger does magnificient jobs on these electrical stuff but i live in wa so does anyone know who i should turn to? richard.

bought local michael. im not going to go into details of price if you want to talk about it just pm hth. i wouldnt import atm with the e.x. rate but i think you know already. its a quick clean ride...more luxury sports then racing sport but 6sec for it to hit 3 digit i reckon its impressive for na. its the same as 350z but you get more touque 4seater capacity and its much rare in perth. ive got the premium model with leather bose etc which i think is neat and looks better then standard. also a hint is that silver dominates almost 70% of v35s so try and get a different colour other then that although i have nothing against that. overall i reckon its pure sex..porn if you tell me.

ok an update...although i made the mistake of the evo 7....just not my liking ive finally got my baby. shes a lot of fun i must admit and pure luxury sports the sound of the vq35de is fabulous. a lil glimpse as i had no time for perfect shot will update in the photo section. now just waiting for my sau sticker to arrive =) richard.

you guys know if its too late to enter? ive got an evo atm but going to trade + cash for a v35... only had it for a couple of days just not my style so hopefully ill be in a v35 some time this week?

its a workshop mainly focusing on aftermarket imports/halfcuts so they have a lot of spart parts for 180/skylines/supras etc. their number is in the consolidation thread. ask for ben. prices are cheap as majority are secondhand.

ill be definitely interested in one aswell. although yes it will kill the uniqueness of the car but having a gtr kit/ or aston martin in every state woulnt be too bad. i was going to order one a month ago before even going to purchase a v35 but now its doubled in price because of exchange

with the exchange rate going on like this i wouldnt bother importing unless you want to wait 1-2 years when the dollar gets up. id buy locally, although theres no fun in it.

in all seriousness i wouldnt bother spending money on the gtst. i have owned one series 2 with auto trans and it just doesnt do it for me no matter how much money you put into it. if you are still into the modding worldgame then get the gtr. you get the rb26, the twins, the awd, fatter ass and the badge. ive gone the opposite and have bought and evo, its a really fast, reliable car with nearly all the features of the gtr but not as hight of tuning potential as gtr. although ive only had the car for a day im already thinking that ive made the wrong choice and ill be trading/buying a v35 in next couple days.

i have asked about the v36 and theres one for 56990 so michael is correct on that...with that price ill be looking at the evo x. anyway i have made up my mind..ill see how everything goes and will post up a pic when it arrives.

un fortunately i missed out on the supercharged one steven (c reds featured car in hpi fast fours etc) some guy placed a deposit just before me. it has high kms though so im looking at one almost brand new. yes the gta has good acceleration like i said it almost the same as manual but not a manual, stock its only 6kw less than the standard rated 206kw but then again this is the gentlemens agreement when importing. honestly i love the v35 more becuase of its exterior/interior but the gta at fabcar is absolutely 2fast 2 furious style! will let you guys know what i have decided by tomorrow night...seems likje that evo x has come into play...

i personally have driven a gta and its not much different from manual however its a different point of viewfor those that actually havnt hence im stuck witht the fact that the gta performs much better then the v35 besides in the fuel department. i am actually thinking about the evo x. will have to look at one tomorrow. thanks for the input guys.

guys i should be more specific im compareing bewteen gta and COUPE 2 door v35. if i was comparing between a sedan i wouldve went with the gta. personally i do not like the 4 door sedan just doesnt appeal to me.

the evo has a really good engine and chasis. i love the awd feel, however i dont know if im up for it like as in another turbo. atm im really thinking hard because both cars are very very different. the v35 is a lux/sport looking dump rims pure *pimped gangsta* look lol. the evo im looking at has a damd kit used in 2fast 2 furious and roughly 7k mods done to it. i have driven both cars and yes the evo has more power but im really surprised at the v35 engine as its not that bad. apparently it has more touque and power then early model 350z and a convenient 4 seater car. i dont know really at this point but ill have to make my decision really soon before end off week.

hey guys/gals, i know its up to the buyers point of view on how they feel/think about the car but honestly its the hardest decision i have to make to date. just wondering what you guys would spend on if you had $40-$50k? the only problem i must state is that the car has to be auto/tipronic etc due to family reasons so basically woul di be better of with a gta (evo 7.5) or the new nissan skyline v35. the gta has the evo look, goes hard around corners and has tuning potential...v35 on the other hand rear wheel drive has a decent motor but main thing that attracted me is the interior its soo god damn nice compared to the evo. help me out guys.

depends on how many kms it has travelled and how you drive it will reflect your autobox. ive changed mine at 105000kms and was a cheaper alternative then converting to manual. if you intend to keep the car for long then convert it other wise its worthless. other than that i wouldnt push mine over 200rwkw if you havnt done anything to the box (shiftkit, bigger transcooler etc)

minimal turnout was good kept us all together. food was great bbt even better. pi stop locations were excellent always good to meet new people (although i dont know about the recreation centre as i bailed out for 20mins). tunnel, coastal was relaxing and exciting (tunnel) overall a good day thumbs up! except for idiots yelling out while driving by and that lancer giving it its all on 3rd pit stop that cracked me up.

ill be there with anie for sure, just waiting on my dba slotted to arrive from brenden in bunbury. i dont want to come with screeching brakes. lol. btw ill pm u wat me and misses want to order tonight.
