i actually went to have a look at it last night mr gazza, apparently its pretty bad, got quoted 5-6k for repairs paint etc. its nearly the same colour as yours but i think hes got custom paint. dont know about my other mate but its not as serious. have you got a quote for yours yet?

thats really unlucky mate, its wierd how 2 of my mates with 350z had drams this week aswell, one with full veilside had a hit and run (front bumper smashed, headlights cracked, and parts of the carbon fiber bonnet chiped scapped) other one got keyed just on the driver doors and back bumper. i think them d*ckheads are just jealous or got nothing to do. real sad i must admit.

that bov should be hks sqv, the screw should adjust the sound unless thats a generic one.

im got a quote of $300 to install and tune safc neo. another $300 to install and tune boost controller. thats $600? so what they are saying about tuning the boost controller is pointless?

bassically all im asking is - after installing the boost controller does it actually need tuning? ans what is involved in the tuning?

hey guys, ive just got a few questions before i book these into a workshop. with the neo i know it def has to be tuned after installation but how about the profec b spec 2 boost controller. ive called up and was quoted $300 just to install and tune for the boost controller only? is this correct and is price reasonable?

leds look really nice on gtsts. im getting one ordered through with the skyline garnish led also in 2weeks time. gtr r33 tail lights wouldnt look that bad. friend of mine has one but looks really different to others on ebay etc. think he got it from uk. end of the day depends on the look you want and what type you want as there are a few. the r33 on top surely must attract a few v8s?

american boys love to be different and unique about their cars. i would have to agree that it looks like a waste of money but the details done to this car looks immaculate and excellent. seems fast aswell can spot intercooler etc. woulndnt mind this as a car.

seemed like a good cruise, saw a few silvias and skylines on corner of great northen hwy and reid hwy. sorry to hear about the inccidents though. hopefully ill be there on the next one when i join up.

very nice cruise and turnout. loved the tunnel (loved the exhaust echos and bovs) the 3rd leg to midland was a good one especally the r34s on great northern (i was the only 33 in that group) trying the f1 style of zigzags haha i think a white hatch was pissing off guy that was funny. any one have pics or videos to share?

gearbox was fried... has been replaced and will be rebuilt. getting shift kit bigger transcooler fitted soon. might be for sale soon as i want evo7.

may i also add that ive noticed something wrong with the transmission about 2 weeks ago when i stopped at lights when accelerated it revved to 4500rpm but didnt go anywhere then suddenly jerked forward. so im guessing its time for the gearbox to go.

hey guys, im driving a r33 series 2 auto lately as i hardly touch my clubby. last night when i was driving it something seemed wierd. it was revving 4000rpm the whole time when i pulled over stopped the engine and started it again. same thing happened. since ive owned the car i have never used the 1st, 2nd gear as ive always put into d (drive). however the whole night and today as i took it for another test drive it seems 3rd and 4th gear not kicking in no matter what i do. i rang up a few places and they said as i have assumed the gearbox was gone. i was thinking about buying an evo7 a month ago but now that this happened i cant really sell it. the question is should i go on changing it to a manual then sell or just stick and replace another box. i will be drving it for a while after this is fixed. just want to see any opinions on this and how much roughly would a auto trans gearbox etc fitted would cost compared to manual? regards richard.
