Need to free up some finances for my business. Car was bought from import dealer in 2008 for $24k and more than $10k has been spent on tasteful mods. INTERIOR: - all seats reupholstered with creme coloured leatherette with NISMO embroidery. Better economy possible with more highway driving. - LONG REGO, never a problem at rego time due to no obvious defects (ie. fmic, POD filter, loud exhaust/bov etc) - as much as I would have loved to take it to the track, this car has NEVER been tracked OR trashed (as it's my daily) - always garaged and no serious accidents (1 minor rear fender bender, which was repaired by insurance) - mature driver (30yo) - first owner in Australia. The car came completely STOCK standard from Japan (one business owner) - NO RATTLES (well one in the dash cluster but that's my fault and shall fix that) I'm available most days. Five Dock is just off Paramatta Rd (near the M4 exit). Call me to arrange an inspection. OFFERS ABOVE $21K ONLY. Please note I am seriously contemplating letting the car go so this is a genuine for sale thread however as I love this car I would like to keep it if possible. I still need to talk to my bank to see if I can get finances for my business without selling the car and if that works out, it may be off the market. I've already had a serious offer for $21,000 so annyone interested, please don't waste your or my time if you can't go higher - I won't let it go below $21k.

same issue here with the fuel gauge ... let the tank go pretty dry once (well not that dry probably 5l left in it) but more dry than usual and from next day it's been "in yoyo mode" ever since. How do you get to the fuel sender tracks in the tank ...? Does the fuel tank have to be removed? Any tips appreciated .. its not a big deal because I can rely on the trip meter but it annoys the crap out of me when the empty tank light comes on randomly

make sure you change the water pump if doing the timing belt

man I'm so tempted to find a deserted car park to try the handbrake 180/360 skids ... only did 2 runs with handbrake which is when it started becoming interesting.. farrrrk can't wait for the next one now

Nah that was just me ;D Had a blast though even though I had no clue as to what I was doing... for most of the day I was using the footbrake which as I found out doesn't work so well on a skidpan. Just towards the end the nice bloke in the orange XR6T gave me a tip about using the handbrake (hope the car's ok mate!) and then I was actually starting to have some fun ... sooooo much better with the handbrake!! Wish I'd come more rested and willing to ask for tips but was just too tired and wanted to get out there. Now I secretly wish the car doesn't sell before november Thanks to the organizers and volunteers, twas an awesome day.

My only worry is the fire extinguisher .. I'm not sure if I'll manage to make a bracket tommorow. Oh and my brake pedal is kinda spongy but it's always been like that even after bleeding (was told its normal due to ABS).

Just a heads up .. I've decided to sell the car as I need to sort out my business finances. I've has 2 people from SAU come for an inspection and both wanted to buy the car then and there and unfortunately both have pulled out due to my indecision at the time.
