Yea apparently a few of the skylines a have they same thing as well. it can get annoying, when I get over 15km the doors lock

Anyone in Darwin interested on this forum want to have a go ???

My expreience with the ceffy is that the drivers side doesn't have a motor just a solenoid to open the other three doors. A master motor is needed to be put in to control the other doors and to unlock the drivers door with an alarm well thats what I had to do. Andrew

HI all, I was wondering would an aftermarket S13 cat back exhaust fit onto the Cefiro?? and could it be joined with an aftermarket RB20 dump and Front pipe?? ANdrew

I have been told don't run the stock ceramic turbo over 14psi 1 bar as bad things happen ( boom) It is usually ideal to get a steel wheel in the turbo. just what Iv'e been told and i'm not the one to try the theory out Andrew

well found the problem and sorted it ( with a hammer) a join of metal either from the suspension wall and outer gaurd wall joint like a knife edge and was directly above the tyre so when the suspension went up the tyre would hit this knife like egde causing it to scrape and cut at the same time. I'll get pics tomorrow and post if i can to show what I really mean. it had me pretty dumb struck

Yea the whole lot - cluster needs to come out and you'll find you need to tug a bit to get it out. If you can still see a white plastic bit on the end where the speedo goes into the cluster it sound like the wire inside the speedo line is broken. The easies what to check is to undo the speedo cable from the box (very easy if you are keen to get a little dirty) it is on the right hand side of the box( looking as you would sitting in it) under neath the car you need to unscrew it and spin the speedo from the gearbox end, if the white end behind the cluster spins it should be ok, if you pull on it and it comes out, a new one will be needed. I am unsure whether they do inner wires for the Cefiro's as yet but it can't hurt to ask at a spare parts shop. Other wise start searching at importers for a whole new one (well new to Australia) hope this helps at all and pls correct me if I have missed or wrong anything above but these are just my experiences Andrew

Yea the TEIN do have camber adjusters plus height and dampeners. but the main problem is that I have rubbing on the tyre width itself on the tread pattern some thing must be sticking into on a certain angle. I am getting it looked at today and fingers crossed it is nothing serious. So out come the rubber mallet and taped up block - guard rolling here I come

HI all AS above i have just bought a Cefiro :inlove: and I have a set of HA TEIN coil over in it and was wondering what everyone was running on the front of their ceffy I have a set of 195/65/15 for now. When turing into corners (some quicker then most) and my tyres scrub on the inner surround of the wheel arch and even on the middle if the tyre witdth ways Rolling the guards is an option and willbe doing that but just wanted to hear anyone else's thoughts Andrew

My speedo stopped on my ceffy a few days after getting it from south *very upset* the Dash surround has about 5 screws from memory and the cluster its self about 4 screws most of the ceffies from memory have cable not electric speedos. The instrument cluster has 4?? plugs and the speedo connected to it which should just pull out. I have to send my cable back to where I bought the car and they are getting one sent to me

Just bought my Ceffy had it a just over a week, Black sunroof with TEIN all the way round 5 speed bloody b.e.a.utiful Looking to have this one for a long time well after i've paid off a house anyway
