  1. Ok first of all when did you last service the car and get a compression test done? Second, what exactly is wrong with the car, its not boosting properly so no making any power? If so I would check your boost selenoid to make sure its not faulty.

You should really go and see a mechanic to make sure everything is ok. Seriously an RB26 needs to be treated sensibly and maintained correctly as well.

  2. the GTR is Keirs isn't it?

Has the Willall Sticker on it

Yes that is Keir Wilson's car and I have to congratuale him on the pass he did on Saturday. As he managed an 8.8 sec pass at a massive 160mph!

The car is absolutely marvelous and impecable. Well done to Keir and his Willall racing.

P.S. Can anyone confirm what tires he used to do this pass?

  4. Ok I will let you know these turbos are R34 N1 turbine because of the following:

    1. it has no markings on front compressor while nismo turbos do ie a/r .60

    2. it has nine blades at the back while r32 nismo turbs have 12

    3. if it spins really, really, really easily than that means its a ball bearing turbo, while r32 nismo turbos are not.

  5. Forget Uni joints, get yourself a 12mm ratchet spanner or set of racthet spanners (it did cost me 80 bucks). Just like GTR032 I changed my GT-R turbos all by myself and yes it was an absolute pain in the butt at the time (since I have never done before) but is definatively worthwhile now.

I can tell you now that you will not be able to take those bottom nuts out (except for the ones on the rhs you can get to them with the ratchet) as you will not have the angle to undo them. Ratchet spanners will be your best friend in this case trust me. Its really worth it.

  6. Ok, how long has it since you have changed the oil and oil filter? Sometimes the oil could be just too dirty and effect the oil pressure i.e. get all boged up.

Make sure you keep your engine with good oil at all times. I change my oil every 3 months.
