These items have to guys!
-
I got some turbos that came with my car yesterday and they are r32 n1 turbos with 0.60 comp and a 0.64 rear housing. I was wondering if you guys know anything about them and there rated power? The comp is bigger than r34 n1 (0.42) turbos and they are rated at 500ps at 1.23 bar. They said that it had late model n1's but I don't know much about the different sizings and power ratings.
I have R32 nismo Turbos on my R32 GTR and have the same markings as yours do. They are great looking turbos and will perform very well for the street. They are rated at 300ps each and will make very good power at 22pds. I have seen them on an r32 which makes 322kw at all 4 wheels!
Excellent turbos and they should look like this:
-
They do not come off a standard production car as such, the a/f meter can be purchased as an after market item just like the mines a/f meter.
-
Apparently 775ps (at engine) is the limit of the nismo A/f meters.
-
Unfortunately because the turbochargers are located in hard place it is very difficult to determine if stock on aftermarket turbos.
All I can say is that standard GTR turbs have a/r 0.42 marked on the compressor cover and nismo ones have a/r 0.60.
-
very good work - RB25's will be fine for me - target is only 280-300rwkw
Mate, I managed to get 297rwkw with my standard GT-R a/f meters, I have RB25 a/f as well but could not put them on yet because of the same reason you do i.e. piping and pods do not fit.

The power curve seems a bit "peakier" with full power a bit later in the rev range than I would have expected with 2530s.
The link below is what I achieved with what should be laggier GT-RS terbs. Note that there had been minimal setup of cam timing and boost was a moderate 17 psi or so.

Nice going Gav, 473hp is very nice indeed. GT-RS turbs are laggier though.
Things to note, is that my turbos are not 2530s and in fact they are not even ball-bearing, hence the spool up delivery is certainly not as instant as bb turbochargers.
Even my bros. gets ahead of me in the lower rev range and he has an FJ20 (na block) with a GT30R!
-
that is a great result mate. 2530s on a GTR is a nice combo.
I'm not to sure on this "their dyno is low so I ad 10, divide by two, plus my age, times 11 equals the true figure" business though. to me that graph says 360hp. if their dyno is not correctly calibrated then they should get it fixed and you should probably take the car somewhere that has acurate, operating equipment. otherwise you are just speculating so what's the point of having it dyno'd for a power figure in the first place?
No need to fuss about this, as I will do a power run on Chiptorques dyno which will give another result all together. I know that all dyno's read differently to one another but as far as I'm aware I am adamant that the power figure is closer to 300rwkw than anything else.

Ant...do you have a graph with a boost curve?
Sorry mate did not get print out of the boost curve, all I could tell you is that we made that power at 17.75pds. It was enough to blow the intercooler piping off as well.
-
Ant - nice work mate, great that the stock AFM's and pump managed that much!
that is the way a graph should look
Thanks, Matthew Spry did a fantastic job.

Thanks bro.

I've got similar to you and will be looking for about the same power
I've got 2530's
Sard 700cc injectors
HKS intank pump
HKS cam gears
PFC + HC
Looking to get a set of RB20/25 AFM's and HKS style split dumps then I can start to assemble it all
I finally got my car tuned yesterday and got some fantastic results. The power I got is 297rwkw with standard fuel pump and a/f meters. I could not believe my eyes nor could my tuner. I did however put 550cc injectors on.
The power curve is just senstational; and the car pulls like a freight train. It is very progressive and goes all the way to 8000rpm.
I'm so pleased with the results that I will get used to the power first and then add a bigger fuel pump and a/f meters later.
I will post up pictures of the power curve very shortly.

Hi guys, as stated above I have standard R32 GT-R Turbos (94 model) and GT-R injectors for sale. The turbos are in great condition and have made 233rwkw on my car. The only thing I would point out is the that the seals and gaskets need to be replaced to avoid any oil leaks.
Ideal turbos to replace with steel wheels!
Turbos $550 now $350 SLASHED TO $300
Injectors $350 - great upgrade for RB20DET (6x444cc) now $300 SOLD!
Right Handside GTS-T Indicator - good working condition $35
Right Handside GTS-T Guard - painted white, but shoud respray $40
Please pm or email me if interested [email protected]
Cheers AS.

I'm currently getting my car tuned and I roughly want about the 300rwkw. It has the following:
Nismo R32 turbos - rated at 300ps each
RX7 Series IV Injectors - 550cc
RB20DET A/f meters
Standard fuel pump - (is going to restrict a lot of the power)
HKS Cam Gears
Will let you know how it goes.

Hi everyone I would just like an opinion on the installation of RB20 a/f meters to an R32 GTR. I know that they fit the plugs without any mods, but will they accomodate the rubber hoses?
I have been told that they can but that the rubber hose could break after a while because they are strecthed from 65mm to 85mm. Could someone please confirm this and also let me know how they installed them on their GTR.
Thanks AS.

Price drop! need to sell asap!

Hi guys, as stated above I have a pair of a R32 GT-R turbos (1994 model) for sale. They are in great condition and have never been boosted more than 14psi. These puppies have made 233rwkw on my car (see below) and have great response. However the seals and gaskets should be replaced to ensure no oil leakage.
Ideal turbos to replace with steel wheels!
Asking for $700 neg. now $550
GT-R Injectors $350 firm
Please PM me or Email me for enquiries

Yes, I finally put the nismo turbos & dump pipes on the car and the car drives as if it were stock. However, the car now has a much more rumblier noise to it (very sexy) and can here the turbos spool up. Before the tune I will be putting on larger injectors (most likely 700cc) and replace my A/F metres with RB20 one.
My brother also installed my E-boost for me but is not correctly working yet.
Once the tune is completed I will post before and after pics of the dyno graph for everyone to see.
By the way does anyone know if I should replace my standard fuel pump with an intank pump i.e. apexi, nismo etc.. or with an external pump such as a Bosch 044???
Cheers AS.

Mate there is no need to rebuild your engine. How long has it been since you made an oil change? Make sure you change your oil (inc. filter) often as this will keep your engine clean and in good shape. I had something very similar and now my compression is good. Also make sure that your injectors are all flowing consistently.

Not to sure where they really belong, but all I know is that they are rated at 300ps each and should be able to handle 1.3-1.4 bar. They are also very similar to the R32 N1 turbos.
Here are the pics.
-
I dont think they are 32's in fact I believe they are R34 N1 turbochargers as you do not have the a/r marking on the compressor cover just like the R34 Nur GT-R turbs.
I have nismo R32 turbos (pics posted above) and have the following markings
A/r .60
Xzaust 0.64 (T695)

Dude, turbs cost me $1,900 from Banzai.
Yes, I agree GT3540 would be nice. Pls buy me one.
Seb, I also got a new exhaust manifold gasket today from Hi Octane Racing.
Now filing for bankruptcy.

2. SARD 700cc Injectors
Will these run with Standard ECU?
No these will not run with standard ECU. Power FC is really the best option to take regarding the tuning a of a GT-R.
450hp at the wheels is possible with the the GT2530/ HKS 2530's but you will need to run some pretty big boost to get it. An easier to get this power output is to get some nice cams for the RB26 i.e. 276deg.
This will make your car have excellent top end without the need of running big boost i.e. 20psi (over).
