  1. Man, no website to check out! When you guys decide to jump into the professional league give me a buzz! I'll help you guys out Also its the R34 that could do with a few minor upgrades
  2. Hey guys, Since returning to the SAU scene, I've found there are still a good amount of events handled by SAU I was going over the SAU Nationals 2011 website and thought "Next time something like this comes up, I can do my part for the community and donate a great website to show my appreciation". All of our work is high quality so you can assume this donation will be worth quite a bit of money. Anyways, jot down my real email [email protected] - When something comes up, let me know and if I am currently available to do so, I'll 'create' my donation The quality of the donation can be seen on our website (Signature contains the URL).
  3. Will have to agree that DMD are pretty good fits. I spent about 45 minutes sanding my front lip just to make it really smooth - Not taking big chunks out or anything
  4. Nice work charles, looks really nice... will be a pain when the little bulbs start busting 1 at a time lol Hey dan, whats the website for all your stuff? I remember you had some pretty nice goodies for the R33's a few years back. Would love to see your 'range' of 'stuff' now - Except the 33 is out the garage and a 34 is in.
  5. I offered a guy 19k for his 34 about a month ago... He said 'when I get time'... I never bought it because he took too long, and he doesn't care. He will just wait for another person to pay the price he wants Not everyone is in the same boat as Jay who desperately needed to sell his car.... and not all buyers are looking for the cheapest car on the market
  6. That looks good charles... I read your whole thread with the CF wraps... looks good
  7. lol I budgeted for $200 tops to get it done haha. The $610 one said they was going to blend it into the bar. They all said 'we need to take off the bumper' and all quoted that into the price. I have no idea why they thought taking it off would of saved time... I didn't remove mine and it was cake installing it. I honestly thought $200 was a good budget so you can imagine the facial expressions when I heard their prices
  8. Man too much at Southport happening... Can I ask, how do you know it was stolen at 12:30am?
  9. Haha, looks like I unintentionally hurt your feelings there a bit - Sorry there was no intention of that. No need to get the shotguns lol Everyone has their own opinion on what they are looking for in their new car - That's all I was saying All this time I've been wishing you the best man!! edit: And my reply was intended for those saying that skylines are selling cheap
  10. I got 4 quotes in Brisbane to spray my front lip... the cheapest was $390 from some random dude working from a home looking shop, the average was $500 and a well known shop @ moss street wanted $610... Did it myself in a few hours for $100 with autobarn products (can+clear+sandpaper+primer+soft sanding block+bolts) bought everything literally for that price
  11. I had original factory paint on my old 33 and when I took it to get a section of rust cut out, they said they didnt even bother with the factory code and just scan it and spray... so this is def something people do
  12. Man lol that looks like alot of work. I would like to see them black or a very dark matching colour to your white Wipers are a very... unimpressive thing on a car - and yours currently stand out A LOT. So you are making something unimportant stand out more than the 'important' features. If that makes any sense haha...
  13. eBay UK seller - Turned up awesome. Really nice leather and fit well (For my old 33)
  14. When I went with my mate the first time, he brought in his brother's XBOX and said "I want the green of the X" and they did that. Now they walk out and check out the car. Make it.. take out a bit of paint and put it on a bit of cardboard and hold it up against the car and go from there
  15. how much are they? how come you ain't using them? I reckon they go nicely with the lip
  16. I was happy to pay a bit more for mine purely because it is what I wanted... So hopefully there are other people out there like me who will pay more for what they consider good
  17. I love this colour - I was specifically looking for this colour when purchasing the car My old 33 had sagging front bumper but I fixed it up myself in about an hour. Took off the whole front bar and bent all the places the screws hold onto back up. I then chucked about $5 worth of fiberglass under the steel frame to give it a bit of support, drilled the holes again and put it back on - looked like brand new. Didn't take more than an hour - I almost busted my blinked though when I forgot to remove one of them... This was a TRIAL front spoiler but I cut the bottom of it off because it was about 5cm off the ground lol. Charles - That looks awesome. Will look really good when painted yellow. I'm also looking at getting the Aero skirts to match the front.... I would love some pods for my rear bumper but $300 bucks for a set? Seems a tad excessive in price for what you get. What are these DIY rear pods you are talking about?
  18. $35 a can... they charge $40 a can where I am -.-... The autobarn where I am does paint matching - That is a bit odd that some of them do and some of them don't lol. It might also have to do with the autobarn in my area is supposed to be the biggest autobarn
  19. Actually thats my wife of almost 2 years now
  20. Never posted in the photographer area before but I do enjoy it in my spare time
  21. You still got the car? Or did they rockup with their 10k cash (I know you still had a valid RWC) and make an onspot decision and cruise away in it... lol... got instant? Don't want to be a party bum, because remember, it ain't over until the fat lady sings ($$$ in your wallet).
  22. Took this photo today with my crappy $50 camera. Mind you, I have a decent dslr setup but photoshop can play quite a good roll.
  23. yay congrats man - Who did you end up selling it to? I'm assuming its an SAU member. Congrats again... Go and get married now
  24. My alarm has a turbo timer on there but I never use it - I just drive nicely on the last 5 minutes on the way home. Coppers are out there to get anyone with a turbo timer as well - legally done or not. Mine is completely aussie approved but I was told I can still get defected (cops out to get you) for it as well as not being in the vehicle while it was running.
  25. Hey mate, make sure you have your latest video card drivers installed. Only with FF or with other apps? IE, Chrome?
