  1. thank you everybody for all input, slowly getting a clearer picture on everything! the safc where do i get, where does it mount, bolt on, attach??? and cause down the track i will be doing further modifications (relentless modifications if money came by easier ) would i be best just getting a new ecu rather than remapping every modification as i proceed as then i could gain best performance, fuel economy etc right throughout mods??? thanx for all the replys, stoked to learn shitloads bout my weapon of mass destruction.........to be! and feel confident with experienced replys not mechanics pissing in the wind to you! smidy
  2. hi guys , just wondering about the safc piggy back for the standard ecu????? if thats how it works????? still learning it all only had car 6mths, whats the advantages or is it better to get a new ecu and which is more cost effective. car is standard now with 3" mandrel bent exhaust with high flow cat, r33 gts-t 95 series 2.
  3. all good found a crack in me intercooler bogged and fixed can't wait for me boost control now
  4. yeah yeah best thing to know as we are quite gulable to speed will work on some pics this arvo
  5. hi all, i am have very similar problems with the splurting and hesitation under accelaration have put new twin spark plugs in and had a coilpack replaced when first purchased the car, so i know what a stuuffed coilpack feels like and this certainly is not as bad as that!! seems to do it only under heavier accelaration, i can gradually feed the accelerator down as the rpm goes up and does tend to miss but have to play with accelerator a bit being careful not to feed to hard or will start choking and spluttering. also get alot of backfiring during gear changes at all types of rpm?????????????? please help unhappy accelarator!! smidy
  6. i have also been told there might be a slight air leak in one of the vaccuum lines???? cause more fuel to be pumped , more air??? unneccessarily!!
  7. i'm not running any extra boost don't have any boost control parts just all standard been reading other threads about similar issues and some have said plugs. put new twin spark plugs in when originally purchased at time or coilpack replacement.
  8. thought maybe that but when i purchased the vehicle there was a coil pack gone and had to take it back to get that done. know what that feels like under acceleration and this just doesn't seem quiet as bad as the "miss" or "choke" that provided??? thanks for reply anything else?
  9. hi all purchased my r33 gtst around 6mths ago, coupla mths later fitted 3" mandrel bent exhaust wit hiflow cat and cannon. ever since engine has been running very rich in fuel consumption and performance in pick up is "choking" so to speak whilst under heavier accelaration . i have spoken to a few people about this, and done the following, i have put standard BOV back on. replaced oxygen sensor in exhaust as this was not working to start!!! and had a fairly good check on vaccuum lines for air leaks etc. please help as fuel is not getting any cheaper ??????????????? smidy
