I know a few of the members on here have dealt with or already know about Chris Rogers and his business Audio Express in Brisbane, well for those who dont and are in the market or looking around for a security or audio install or product, I can highly recommend him and personally would not go anywhere else after dealing with him and his wealth of knowledge and very reasonable prices for the products and installation of those products concerned!!! I have just had an immobilser and alarm system and stereo head unit installed on a fresh import gtr 33 by Chris and extremely happy with the job and products he recommended. make sure you track him down for a quote before going anywhere else. :thumbsup:

Just landed finally and complied my 33 gtr in midnight purple, very very happy camper!! Not sure how to put pics up from my phone but will get around to it.

to import you are looking at about 2-3months from purchase in japan to you door, im in brisy so thats how long for me maybe longer to get to get west oz or shorter not sure on that, more hold ups in oz than from japan! australian goverment sucks balls with legalitys and fees/charges! I imported through j-spec a 33 gtr v-spec and expecting to get it this week or next week once it gets compliance approval and bought it at the auctions in japan on 20th may 2013. Good feedback on Ironchef too if you look at the thread about "if your happy with your import who was it". you will get stung real bad for insurance for a turbo car an only on your P's let alone on you L's and under 25 too, I dont imagine rules like that change for west oz to east oz. I'm paying $1300/year for $27,000 insurance value on the gtr through just car insurance but i'm 32 also and had my license since 17.

Sounds like a plan Chris !! Will be over to see u soon with my 33 GTR when it gets out of compliance. Definetly a kneecapping or both involved !

With the Amount of us on Here seeing the amount of skylines getting done over I think we should organise a car to be set up to be stolen and all of us be around to watch And catch and deal with these professional cocksmokers then drop em of at the cop shop and bail!

Great thanks m8, bit clueless to tech specs and haven't even seen the pump as car still gettin complied and I'm 1000km away at work! just tryin to do me best to organise it on a phone! Yeah plenty of ideas of modifications to come in the future that's for sure, at this stage just wana get behind tha wheel and enjoy...

While on the subject of tuners also anyone know what they are like or used East Coast Customs at Virginia?

Went with the walbro 255 l/hr pump, just found out it is 12v so all good.

if you are cheap and going with walbro pump, you might need to do 14v re-wiring for safety. I went with walbro pump but only 255l/hr does this need rewiring?? Have been told it is just a straight swap no rewiring or modifying in tank brackets ?

Hi all, Was guna put this in forced induction section but preferred to speak with all the local guru's about this. Just landed a gtr 33 v-spec and fuel pump was workin in Japan but not now in oz?? There is power to the pump but no go. Could I get some advice on price to replace the standard in tank pump or down the track when chasing more horsies , would I be better to get a good aftermarket one done now and what other stuff would I need like regulators? AFM?programable ecu? etc if I go down the track of aftermarket stuff as everything else is standard with the gtr. Guna talk to Richard at all star when I get a chance but previous experience and input from others would also be greatful!! Thanks

Just landed gtr r33 v-spec and fuel pump Is rooted... If aftermarket one is installed will I have to get fuel regulators and aftermarket air flow meters etc and other work done? If anyone has standard one will be interested also !

Lol have my plates at home and car on a boat heading here... And got my license back 3 days ago after none for 8months,so yes a little keen!!! Was told 2 weeks for compliance paperwork processing, got my car through j-spec and i am in brisy.

Just car insurance 32year old 95' Gtr 33 v-spec $27,000 insured Exhaust Aftermarket security $1000 Coilover suspension Aftermarket Air filters Basic Excess $600 Other excesses as well and a reducible premium if u up the value of basic excess Premium $1200 approx with excesses around $2500 Premium $1750 approx with excesses around $1500 This was just a quote at that stage about a month ago but just cars are about the only ones to insure me I think due to car being a fresh import and never road registered or somethin like that. Will be keen save $$$ and get better offers if it works. AI insurance were heaps cheaper when I got quote buy my driving history scratched me from their list.

Will be keen on tha golf day if it happens. Gota do me membership this week comin!

Speaking of signing up will be as soon as my gtr lands !!! Wanted to know is there any other track days or happy laps events that happen other than the ones that are on the 2013 agenda as I work away from brisy and 90% of these days are on my days away with work which I am spewing about !?!?
