  1. pics of bride style seat..
  2. just a cheapie newasia tig.. wsm200. used those at work heaps, so i thought id get myself one. does the trick for what i'm doing.. 3" 90's are about $40, polished/ and what i guess you'd call line honed inside.. pretty hectic finish stainless flanges are about $30, 12mm thick, pretty nice quality.. wouldn't call it show quality, but its pretty good what you paying for the gear wholesale?
  3. what welder? a tig flanges = local exhaust shop.. same place i get my bends.. took me ages to find a decent supplier with really nice quality bends, all the pipes in the photo's haven't seen a buff yet, the photo's are straight of the welder... all hand smoothed inside aswell, doubt it makes any hp difference.. but atleast it looks sex.
  4. nice! stock as looking, right down to the nismo fpr
  5. nah mate, didn't purge it.. no one wants to pay for the extra cost .. which is understandable.
  6. id buy a cube for sure. love the look of em, but yeh, f no for 25k i'd rather buy a jazz, and be able to sell it for near the same amount i bought it for when im finished with it
  7. i've been reading and watching alot of the other threads on here... thought i'd show of some of my own handy work if you'd call it that.. see if i can upload the pics here. the t28 dump is for a nissan micra and the 3" job is for a 3040 on a rb25.. i put flex's in all my dump pipe/exhaust work, has worked for me so far, never had a manifold crack in the last 4years over many many cars.
  8. that looks hot... my only criticism is i think you could have done the intercooler piping a bit neater.. those are some massive gapping holes in the gaurds!
  9. i remember seeing these on yahoo last month i think.. atleast same pictures. tough kit..
  10. wtf are you smokin, where are you gonna get a straight cut gearset for 1k? i'm there, and i'm ordering atleast 3 sets
  11. mate, no offense intended, but get rid of those wheels, there hideous, i'd say that's what is hindering a sale.. it'd look better rolling on stock 33 rims.. bump anyways g/l
  12. nice,... that's friggin cheap as. g/l with em.
  13. i couldn't help myself, seeing as no one else feels like saving more money here, i asked that bloke if he could beat your price for 10 shafts, here's the reply i got: "...........Hi Thanks for the heads up. I don't know where he would be getting the shafts from, probably just fishing, because I am the Aust., and NZ distributopr for ACPT and they know nothing of that deal. BUT, having said that, I can certainly beat that price for an order of 10. Spread the word Paul." i suggest you ask him for a price if you want to save further dollars.
  14. hi guys, after some r34 gt-t rb25det neo injectors.. and a r33 gts-t s2 turbo, lemme know what you got.
  15. no worries, thought it might be worth asking what price he could do on ten shafts.. seeing as i think someone said there 1700us +del normally, he must be getting a good deal too, but i guess he'd have to be if he's the dealer.. anyway
  16. thought you guys might like to check this out: http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....howtopic=296765 there advertising the same tailshaft for 1660au delivered for skylines, and 1200 for s13/14/15... pretty cheap i thought, and for the extra $160, i'd feel safer buying it from someone here then overseas, least then you can throw it at him if something goes wrong.. and you don't have to buy 10 of em.
  17. uhuh, i think i've established that! but thanks anyway!
  18. holy shit, that's awesome for 8 psi.. what turbo/s you running to get that?
  19. what compression ratio are you running? seems to make plenty of power, doesn't sound like much torque but, what's a 2.5 / 2.6 make generally?
  20. come and show me how a rb25 inlet plenum will bolt onto the head, and i'll agree. its a 20 head, has a 20 plenum on it, only diff is the valley cover, has the rb25 one, that's how it came.. block is definately a rb25. is a whole engine as cheap as getting a block? hmmm, if you can supply one, he'll get one for sure. na rb30 seems the go if your on a tight budget, getting good power out of it....
  21. i agree, rb30's are lazy, nothing like a high revving rb.. your advice is very appreciated, we'll certainly look into a det block, had no idea the 30's dont use oil squirters, so maybe its not that critical? but i guess while its apart, why not.
  22. wtf? i told him to get a turbo block, not a whole engine... thought about the 30 combo, but he doesn't like the idea... pparently a "bogan" motor... each to there own, personally i'd be building a 30. but then again, not to sure i'd like the idea of a vl engine in my car so anyone actually know about these engines? if we get a 25det block, will the 25 non vct head bolt on? and can we just use normal 25 forgies?
  23. eerr, yeh, no problem money bags, clearly stated we are rebuilding the engine with forged internals, so why the f**k would i go and buy a stock turbo motor? if your answer is to fix shit with 2nd hand rubbish then go ahead, i'd just like to know what pistons and headgasket will suit the engine.
  24. hi guys, a mate of mine has got a r32 gts-t with an n/a r32 rb25 in it.. that has been det'd in japan, apexi turbo, gtr intercooler, tomei reytec, etc. anyway, number 1 and 3 cylinders are goneski. questions we/i have is: what pistons doest the non vct r32 rb25 use? same as r33 rb25? what headgasket do you use? same as r33 rb25? from what i can tell, the head is an rb20 unit, has rb20 intake plenum, etc, but block has rb25 stamped into it. i told him to try and source a rb25 turbo block because of oil squirters etc, considering he's gonna be thrashing the crap out of it on the track. his build will be consisting of something like forged pistons/rods, metal headgasket, and reco'd /balanced assembly, std everything else, cams, etc blah. thanks for any help.
  25. no probs, just thought i'd save you the trouble, i know twin/tripple/quads have plates inbetween, the place that i've seen mod them puts a spacer in between the pressure plate and where it bolts to the flywheel to space it out. has never worked for me. goodluck thou.
