  1. Really? damn son i usually get about 450km on a full tank city driving. 98 octane?
  2. i just noticed your location... NW TAS
  3. How did you connect the ipod to the console? which cables did you use etc?
  4. "we JUST sold that car, but we have another one that is exactly the same" In car sales, you are not allowed to change the licence plate number when you advertise. so instead of paying another ~$40, they just keep the same ad on there. dirty
  5. i also understand your pain Alkatraz! I remember when i was doing a search on carsales for my v36, i kept getting dealers that were advertising their v35s as v36s. buyer beware! plus if youre gonna spend so much on a car, maybe you should do your research. i don't feel bad for anyone that buys a dud. do your research, and you wont be fuct over
  6. this is the most bizzare thread to bring back to life...
  7. Mike, there are 2 in my building and 2 more on the street where i live. So i see them every day I bought VHT paint, they are good for brakes and wheels. Don't skimp on the paint, I think it will bite you later on. I sanded down the scratches before i started painting. That's what i would do, unless you have some serious damage. GOOD LUCK
  8. Guys, Wogboy told me that you can just connect a Garmin GVN 53 navi uni to the centre console via the RCA plugs. apparently you just change the system to AUX and you will get the navi up and working. I might give this a try because this option is about half the cost of getting some guy to get it done for me. hope this works Props to Wogboy for this knowledge.
  9. The 2 main reason why i upgraded to the v36 was because the v35 (2003 premium model) was starting to show it's age ie the windows stopped working, the acceleration was starting to lag. Also, there were v35s EVERYWHERE! yeah you do notice the difference between the 2 cars ie power & interior upgrades. I absolutely loved my V35, and it was the obvious choice to stick to the brand you love. Fingers crossed
  10. i sanded down the scratches before painting. i had painted the rims on my v35 a few years back and the paint didn't chip or flake after 2-3 years of use. i think it all depends on the paint used, maybe?
  11. yeah bro, it looked kinda matte black so i put a clear/gloss coat at the end. really made them shinnnnny i will put up some better pics on the weekend
  12. So guys, I decided that I needed a change. I didn't love the rims that came with the car when I bought it... so I painted them! Before manhandling: Rims, washed and sanded: People say that you should sand the rims down completely, but I didn't notice a difference. So I didn't bother too much with the sanding until your hands bled... Car jacked and surface covered for caliper painting: My car was too low, and i couldnt get my heavy duty jacks to fit. So I had to use the little one that came with the car. This is why you will notice 3 jacks! I gave the rims a few light coats then followed up with a few heavier coats, and then finally a clear coat to make it shine: Capilers after a few coats: The final product: Nothing is more satisfying that admiring your own work
  13. omg, how did i not notice that button ?? LOL!
  14. i hope the prices stay that high it will help the rest of us when we are looking to sell and buy a new car
  15. mate, the thing with the Japanese luxury brands ie Infiniti and Lexus, they will offer so much more in their cars than what BMW, Merc and Audi will for the same $$$. that is why ppl will buy the jap luxury brands. have you been in a 3 series? biggest piece of $hit ever plopped out. and ppl are paying retarded $$$s for it... personally, the less skylines on the road the better i like to feel special HAHA

  17. the Infinity brand is due here end of 2012. the G37 will be up against the Mercs, BMWs and Lexus brands. the price will be $80k plus. the v36 may hold their price but in 1-2 years time the v35 will be dirt cheap
  18. This does not work for me with my iPhone 3GS. I can easily select BT at the source. Have you actually had it working? i use the blutooth from my iphone 4 to play music every day unless you have a different system post a pic of your unit
  19. Rey, imo you should put in a few hundred $$$ and get a new set. most v35s would have 40,000km+ worth of ass wear unless, of course youre aiming for that retro cool ass wear look
  20. Pairing is the hard part once you have done that keep pressing 'DISC' until Blutooth comes up. you should be able to play from there
