  1. +1 mate, i feel your pain and i can't even imagine how hard this must be for you (and your family if you have one) i think i know who you're talking about but i would like to know for sure pm away! good luck mate!
  2. sure did mate, went down to tuff muff exhausts and he gave me a piece just the right length for free (mild steel but oh well same shit)
  3. hrmm yeh, but i still really want to get a FMIC soon... so not much point in doing it that way i guess, and yeh i can tell there is a bit more go after doing that intake pipe mod. i didnt actually do what the DIY said to do. i just cut the hose while it was still attached (couldnt work out how i'd get to the hose clamp near the turbo so yeh just sorta winged it and forced it into rubber pipe) But yeh man i would do it hey, it seems to be a lot more responsive now (probably that and the fact i did a service on it straight after aswell )
  4. sau qld site does fast for free
  5. well i was kinda thinkin more... RB48????? can anyone say PA-TROL ? lol now that would be a force to be reckoned with aye? RB48 twin cam petrol engine with a big f*#k of turbo hangin on to it, sitting in ya stag? that would get her moving along nicely TORQUE!!!!
  6. hey mate nice work with that heat shield and cold air induction, whats that stuff you used? tinted perspex aye? from bunnings you reckon? i might have a crack at the heat shield, but the induction might have to wait until i get rid of my SMIC and get a FMIC, still a heat shield is better than no shield, (although i do have my stock Cold air scoop blowing cool air straight onto the pod) I did originally take the pod off and put the stock box back on, but then i did that $5 intake pipe mod (see how to's and FYI and DIY) and i could only just fit my pod in the engine bay, so no way would my stock box go back on, thinking of getting one of those apexi pods tho, they are a bit shorter in length so it might fit easier. Once again top job mate!
  7. do they make 2.7l stroker kits for rb25's?
  8. well yeh i've hit the 180 limiter in 4th gear at around 4000rpms, so thats nearly 1 and half more gears of power to go!!!! so my guess would be that it would at least hit 250km/h (5 sp manual of course )
  9. i'd say do the suspension and brakes first before you make it go any faster, better to be over equipped for the more HP than under- equipped in my opinion anyway, thats the way i would do, have everything setup so that when all of a sudden you gain an extra 40- 50kw you have all the bits and pieces to make you handle and pull up in time to do it with. Bradd/
  10. they are just the stock ones that come with the car i believe, no brand as such (other than nissan) I think....just my guess anyways as i'd say if anyone bought an aftermarket one it would be at least 3"
  11. the bandag bullet has 2 v8's in it that are supercharged and twin turbo'd so i guess a supercharger and a turbo is possible, dont know how the F*#k they do that shit tho lol
  12. thanks fellas
  13. cheers fellas, hrmm the front indicators do sound like a good idea... nightshade you reckon??? does it come in spray paint? and yeh dont know about the rear ones......eeeek i can see myself f*#king that one up royaly. i think next i might try the rear pillar covers (just before the tailgate) some dude had some carbon fibre (lookked black anyways) ones on his car, so i reckon i might rip them off and give em a touch of black paint also i did the $5 intake mod with a bit of 3' steel put in, seems to give it a bit more a kick!
  14. so i decided i dont like chrome/shiny things, so this was one of my little projekts for the weekend (among changing the intake pipe > D.I.Y. stuff, putting pod back on, with a bracket tho this time, and also doinga 5000km service so i headed on down to bunnings grabbed a bit of 180 sand paper, grey primer, flat black and some clear coat protectant. and vouila here you have it hope you guys like it, and if you dont, ah well, i do cheers, Bradd
  15. hrmm ill have to consult my accountant.... lol jokes um i dunno lets say 70 bucks delivered? how does that sound to you mate? what do you think?
