  1. its part of the gearbox my guess is as good as yours lol
  2. hey mate after 2 things, a front tie rod (from the steering thing i believe) and an extension housing seal? thanks mate
  3. hey mate after a front tie rod, and extension housing seal? needed badly for a rwc. plz get back to me asap!
  4. just a lil off topic, but i will always use plain old copper ones and this is why... as my mate, (qualified mechanic building his own rb26/30 33) explained to me one day, iridiums are good, they will last around 100 000kms which is great however, there is nothing wrong with copper ones, infact they have a thicker tip providing a better spark, however they dont last that long. his point is, you can have iridium plugs in your car for a long time, but over that time that just keep getting worse and worse and worse. (and they cost a lot more too. Whereas with the copper ones, if you change them say every 10 - 15000kms (or as i do every 2nd 5k service) they keep "refilling" so to say, AND they are buggar all (bout 30 bucks for 6) in the end it will probably cost you the same amount of money for plugs, but its just that every 2nd or 2rd service you do, you are gettin a brand new spark in your engine. anyways i trust what my mate says, and i believe it makes a lot of sense too (at first i was like "but i thought these iridiums were far superior?") choice is yours anyways, but yeh just a little advice you can take on/shrug off Cheers, Bradd
  5. my mechanic refers to my car as a gtr wagon lol. and its not even a 260 rs lol
  6. hey mate how much you reckon to get em freighted up to cairns?
  7. hey all, as the newly appointed sauqld events exec for nth qld, i am at the moment trying to put together a drag night in townsville later this year, around early august. it would be great to see some stagea owners make the trip up to townsville this year show these skyline boys how ya do it on the 1/4 mile
  8. Fark yeh, its coming off tomorrow then lol, for some reason i thought that one was bolted on or sumthin :S
  9. Hey everyone as stated i have 1 Whiteline adjustable alloy front strut tower brace for sale, It came off my old R31 sedan and i know that it wont fit an r33 coupe (tried to give it to my mate for a present lol) anyways it was on the car for about a year, had no problems with it, it is still in great condition, paid 230 for it brand new, looking for $100 ono +postage item is located in cairns, qld, and i will post it anywhere in aust. Pm me or send me an email to [email protected] pics for ya's
  10. hey mate i debadged my whole stag (minus the nissan rear badge for obvious reasons) but yeh i got the badges off with a flathead and an old tea towel (be careful not to rip it thru the tea towel, and then for the sticky stuff i got some eucalyptus oil and a rag and WHOLE lot of elbow grease lol, but yeh it comes off eventually
  11. yeh thats fair enough, i wasn't aware there was bias' with the front and rear calipers, but yeh that does make sense tho so probably a full set of 33 calipers and some nice slotted rotors to suit i think would be a decent braking upgrade, and some good pads too of course
  12. So if this is true, then wouldnt an upgrade of 33gtst/gtr calipers and slotted rotors on the front, and swapping your standard 2 pot front calipers onto the back with some slotted rotors, be a really good braking system upgrade, but for not a hell of a lot of money?
  13. hey ruby rs4, luving the black series 2, is that how the car came, with the front bar? is that just a standard nismo one is it? wat about the grill? did you paint it black youself?
  14. So, ryan1600 would i be right in saying that 33 gtr and gtst calipers are the same? and if i were to buy the calipers and get some slotted rotors to suit, would they just be as easy as taking off my old rotors and calipers, then putting on new said calipers and rotors? ... i heard dba make gold slotted and dimpled rotors for 33's.... would look pretty sweet on my car (not to mention the braking upgrade)
  15. Welcome to our little world of stageas australia. you'll find everything you need to know about stagea's all in the one place, and if it's not here, someone will find out the info for ya enjoy your car mate
  16. some pics of my baby out with some "family members" lol
  17. for 400 a pr i think i would rather source some 33gtr calipers and sit them on some slotted rotors... idunno wat do you's reckon?
  18. welcome mate, i've had mine very close to 6 months now (rego's up next week) and i absolutely love it! glad to hear your happy with it. In the 6 months of owning it, ive learnt a hell of a lot about them and turbo cars in general, all thru this helpful little discussion, kudos to everyone on here for making it a tight knit kind of family feel where everyone is jumping at the chance to help each other out. its fantastic
  19. gold you say hrmmm ..... lol sounds good plus then i can call it more of a gtr then lol pfffft who cares about .1 of a Litre and one extra turbo anyways......
  20. ah i see, so gtst 33 calipers are essentially gtr calipers aswell, both of which are lighter cars then th stags, yet we get 2 pot calipers?
  21. wouldn't the best solution then be to probably get some r33gtr calipers and get some slotted's to suit?
  22. yeh but i was more thinkin slotted rotors.....not replacement ones... i wanna upgrade... surely someone out there has upgraded their series 2 with slotted rotors!?!?!
  23. so r33 gtst style rotors won't fit a series 2 then?????? shouldn't these be the same offset tho? what the hell do we use then>??????? 33 gtr rotors?
  24. ghey, take it to the dump (but grab the engine out b4 hand )
