Hey, not to sure if i'll be able to make it, skyline wont start when the engine is warm, so every stop point would be an issue, might come in the ute instead.
Reading all this has got me thinking that i should try to get my turbos on before this event so i can get over the 300kw mark aswell. I'll make some calls tomorrow and see what i can organise
Thanks Pete I love the look of your car as well, i've never been a fan of over the top kits, standard body with minor changes FTW!!! Im just not a big fan of people who drive skyline just to be cool
Awesome news Pete, now you just need to get that cutting out problem sorted out, cant wait to see that mean machine out on those warm nights
I might even get my little 250 rego'd and bring it out
Printing will be good enough for me, just as long as the logo is spot on and the lettering is done in a good looking font, maybe get the url lettering done in outlined letters just to brighten them up a bit so they don't look to plain or something???
As already stated by some of the other members we already have Mallala to drift/race at so i don't see why the government would want to hand over millions of tax payers money to build another track. I would push for more drift days at lala, it seems like the best option to me.
GTR-32 have you been to a lala track day? i've been to mallala for one track day and i had way more fun in that one day than i ever have driving on the street, driving around the back turn of the track at 180km/h + is more than enough to get anyones adrenaline cranking.
do what ya like, i'm not gonna waste my time, this sort of stuff has been going on for years, My old boss was chairman of the back on track commitee, so i've been there done that, way over it now.
+1 he did the paint on my GTR rims.
Maybe try and run some water over it when your making the cut with a grinder it will help keep the metal nice and cool while cutting.
