common prob - if its the same noise i'm thinking of, its the mechanism moving that opens/switches the vents. you might notice sometimes your A/C will switch to blow only on your feet when you hear this noise. not everytime tho. i can sometimes stop mine from making this noise by cranking up the fan speed to max and then down again. also changing from FACE to FEET and back to FACE stops its give this a try

i'm with ylwgtr... Check your dash dimmer switch - my dash lights went soon after my car was complied. i just disconnected the wires from the dimmer and joined them bypassing the dimmer all together. It will stay on full brightness though without the dimmer of course. Not sure if my tailights were affected as well at the time. The two could be related if your fuses are all fine.

imho if it wasnt for the pumped gaurds on the 32 R, the 32 looks kinda plain - hence they seem to blend easily into everyday traffic :freak:

hey mate yeah its for me... i'm thinking of doing another power upgrade. possibly a neo 25det and manual box if i can find one the car still hasnt skipped a single beat since the conversion (now about 60k ago). Because i do a lot more kms than most (and will do much more), i'm leaning towards playing it safe. This also means my head, turbo etc could be sold in current good condition and recoup some of the outlay for the front cut what do you think?

I have had work done at Charlie's Motors in the 'gabba. David (assuming he's still there) is the particular guy i would recommend from there to speak with. There is no substitute for enthusiasm. Stay away from the "we do heaps of these things" blokes.

4.3:1 LSD diffs can be had from R33 GTS Type S's and transplanted. Possibly other non turbo models but not 100% sure. i experienced a noticable loss of acceleration going to 4.11 when the old one developed a whine.

Can anyone recommend reliable places to get 33 & 34 front cuts? Also, what are some of the things you DONT usually get with front cuts? cheers

whats the range you speak of? does it detect the mobile speed camera units or just radar guns?

does it actually work? does it go off only when there is a radar around or does other things trigger it off?

the sticker is a standard thing... just telling you to change it at 100k some write on it when its been done... some dont. depends on the mechanic

which also means, if you have bought an import up to 10yrs old and the clock "says" 40-60k (as most do by the time they get here) change the timing belt asap to be safe... its really not that expensive. changing it when your clock "says" 100k might actually be 130k or even lots more and that to me is a fair risk.

this game is awesome on the pc... especially mutilplayer action... petty its only 4 players max though
