  1. Can the RAW be fined or penalised for this sort of thing?
  2. spotted a white r32 gtr in fyshwick near bob jaaaaaane t mart. red seat covers. very nice! the white volks could do with a wash. i also saw what looked a lot like a Humvee H1 in woden, around lunch time. Bright red. It looked like a Hummer, but I really don't think it was a real one. It just didn't seem big enough. A body conversion maybe?
  3. i saw a black four door r33 today in fyshwick. nice rims too. and a wine red r32 with a carbon fibre wing in civic last night at about 930ish.
  4. you better be planning to take lots of pix, leech and post 'em up here.
  5. don't forget the most important: arigato gozaimasu! = thank you! and lots of bowing too. fug i miss it.
  6. >Almost rear ended a ute the other day because only one light worked I don't want to sound like a d1ck, but it'll be deemed your fault if you fang into someone from behind, even if their lights are stuffed. i'm sick of them too (my gf will tell you) but there's not a lot we can do. there are many losers out there who know that your car is worth more than theirs...
  7. black r33 on barry drive this AM. looked like stock(ish) rims.
  8. i originally posted positive things about a broker but recent events have changed my mind.
  9. ditto the tokyo guide. the japan guide is more useful for the next trip you take there (and i guarantee you there will be one).
  10. spotted a silver r33 this evening in woden as we picked up some thai. series II, p plater. very jealous - I MISS MY SKYLINE.
  11. hope it wasn't the yellow supra i see around town - i've always thought it was kinda nice to look at in a ricey sort of way. too huge a body kit for my taste, but quite striking. spotted a white r33 with DTS written down the side tonight at blockbuster woden. not sure if he's a local coz he started going out the 'in' lane from hindmarsh drive.
  12. i went with nathan at grey imports in annandale, sydney. very nice guy, excellent work. lots of people on here recommend him. i'd definitely go there again (and i'm picky).
  13. spotted a very hot bright red r34 near uni a little while ago. very nice sounding exhaust too. if you're reading this though mate, that area has lots of pedestrians, and giving it stick around there is looking for trouble. slow down, your car still looks and sounds fantastic.
  14. four door gunmetal grey r33 this morning on northbourne. also, we've decided to SELL THE PEUGEOT AND BUY A MINI TRUCK. FUG YES.
  15. GO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. spotted a white r33 on adelaide avenue yesty arvo around 530ish. also a sort of greeny pearl soarer lapping manuka (big for sale thing on the rear window) and an orange honda s2000 with possibly the largest chrome rims i've ever seen in my life, also in manuka.
  17. yeh this is excellent news!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you hear any more then please keep us up to date. fingers crossed that justice is served!!!!
  18. ah, meant to reply to this earlier. ok, 3 days, let's see. if you don't know where to stay, i can recommend a hotel called "St. Hills" in Ochanomizu - http://www.sthills.co.jp/englishmain.html Very nice staff, adequate rooms and good prices. just up the road from Chuo Dori, the Marunouchi subway line and Akihabara. i look to stay there each time i go to tokyo. stuff to do in three days, well i'm going to make some assumptions about what you like and your ability to get around. 1. you MUST go to Akihabara (not hard if you stay in St Hills). the epitome of tech. walk up the road then to Okachimachi for Ameyoko. lots of little stalls for food and clothes. great place to buy sneakers too (i'm a sneaker freak). if Okachimachi is not your bag, you can instead walk the other way up to Yasukuni Dori and go to Yasukuni Jinja shrine. great and poignant war museum. see the Ohka suicide plane. marvel at how the same firm that once made Zeros now makes Lancers. 2. you MUST go to Shibuya. lots of clothes stores, music stores, good youth culture. then walk up the road to Harajuku. visit Meiji shrine if you want 'old skool' culture. this whole area will blow your mind. 3. Shinjuku is also not bad. very big but worthwhile. other bits - i advise you to do stuff you wouldn't normally do. some stuff may be odd, but that's half the fun. - buy drinks from the drinks machines - pocari sweat, calpis and that. - TRY RAMEN. AND GYOZA. the little tiny food places are unreal. - if you go to Harajuku, walk down to Omotesando. There's a sushi shop about half way up the street with heavenly sushi. - take a camera! i would probably avoid roppongi. i think it's always been a bit of a dump and even the addition of roppongi hills doesn't really help. interestingly, it's the foreigners that ruin it. but that's just my opinion. i am F****ING jealous that you are going. You will have a fantastic time!
  19. yeah sold those. turns out you *can* have too many skylines. i didn't think that was possible but there you go. now in major withdrawal and hunting for a gtr.
  20. that's cause right now I HAVE NO SKYLINE AND I'M GOING MAD. Waiting for the right GTR to pop up is heartbreaking.
  21. oh, spotted leech at manuka coles (i think) yesterday. also a black r33 at fyshwick markets.
  22. were you in manuka on the weekend? sunday arvo?????
  23. While I think there are ways in which fullo could have handled this better, to my mind it does sound a lot like some of the brokers i've heard of: before the purchase it's promises and smiles. after the purchase, it's expectations management. bad luck mate, hope you get it sorted soon.
  24. spotted four white r33s (all different) in a space of about 15 mins yesterday in manuka. get with the program, guys, r32s is where it's at.
  25. spotted a very nice silver r32 last night in manuka. maybe work professor rims? anyway, nice ride.
