  1. Hey man, sorry if I missed it in the thread but what Bride's did you end up getting? Are you using Bride rails? And if you are, are they hard to slide the seats and adjust the seat position? Awesome car by the way!
  2. I know it's not much to go by, but I'm hoping it's enough. I don't know a whole lot about GTR's so I was wondering if you guys could tell me if there was any reason to believe that this isn't a real GTR? And if it's not, could you please point out why for me? Thanks in advance! (There's another photo of it from the side but it's from a bit more of a distance. If u feel it will help more, let me know and I'll post it)
  3. If there's a fire in your car, it'll take you two whole minutes to remove the fire extinguisher? I wouldn't go to see Birds, Kurtis, if it's going to take that long to take out...install it yourself
  4. That's what else I was wondering...do cops (TMU's, especially) have any kind of quotas to meet for the day/week (whatever the case may be) ? Coz it damn sure feels like it...and it wouldn't be hard to meet either, the way they continually pull everyone over...
  5. Coz we're easy targets. They catch us as "offenders" even if we haven't done anything and slap us with defects. Cases which need to be "followed up" or "investigated" isn't always something that's going to happen coz they know they probably won't catch the offender(s) anyway and so don't bother... I'd hate to think that really is the case but it's hard not to think it...
  6. as cliche as this is going to sound... damned if you do...damned if you don't... of the ghey.
  7. Am I tired or is that sentence not complete? Also, well said re: the other stuff in the same post...
  8. I wish I could agree with you and call that the bottom line and have that be the end of the story. But I don't agree. 80Kph said it well. Cops are humans too...they have their good and bad days also...the same way we do. Unfortunately...when they have bad days...they can take it out on us also as much as we can take our frustrations out on them. I always respect the officer. I'm never stupid on the road. Yet I got defected one night while stuck on the monash, emergency lane, hazards blinking waiting for a tow truck to pick me up. He was a prick from start to finish. Why? Coz he can. I've had good cops also, don't get me wrong. But pricks are out there whether you like it or not. Despite what 80Kph says or thinks, respecting cops won't always get respect back. And birds...you mentioned before all those people who have "never had a problem with cops before" -- I agree with you...I'm sure it's only just a matter of time...
  9. Good question!! Anyone know the answer?
  10. Sorry to say but I find it hard to understand why seeing a skyline on the road would lead police to believe that the driver is: First - Intoxicated/Drugged or Second - Un-licensed/Suspended both of which are above your third point of having illegal mods...which I'd have thought would be number one on your reasons list...and your list would have finished there with nothing else to follow...
  11. Haha...harsh man. Give the guy a break! Either way...good luck, redevil!
  12. You'd think, wouldn't you? Just HOW much sentimental value is there to this car? If you did this car up with ur old man and he passed away (which I seriously hope is not the case) then i'd understand. If you lost your virginity in the car, then I might still understand... But if it's none of the above (or at least something just as intense) and if money is no issue to getting this car back, then just buy another car and do it up the same way? (Not trying to sound like a dick...just my thoughts...)
  13. Yeah why replicas? Get the real deal! matt black te 37's...no red lip...low offset
  14. Ah ok then fair enough, just wanting to ask coz of the Vspec II Nür badge on the back, that's all
  15. surely with that many spots already in such a short time, the car will be home again really soon! (And in the best condition possible)
  16. I'm surprised there's not a longer line of people who were wanting to do the same, before you put that 2x4 down haha.
  17. Ah HAH! So you DO want a turbo car to drive around everyday in...including going to work and taking it to the shops...despite questioning this WHOLE time what the point of us turbo owners are doing with a turbo car in the first place!
  18. Most of us on the forum don't need to pay more for a "race engine". Most of us, afterall have "race breed" engines from factory which is what RB stands for after all...right? (Relax, douches, I know that's not what it stands for...) On a serious note...did anyone else get kinda lost reading this? I don't understand what being aussie has anything to do with...well...anything to do with this topic. I thought we were talking about JDM here? Not modifying a car to make it look like something from Fast and Furious. Which then would probably make it far from JDM in the first place... I think you have a problem, perhaps, with people who "rice" their cars?
