Thanks for that Johnny. I ran a PS2 cable this morning. As well as the 6th pin I had to remove the central locating plastic pin from the male end while on the female end I had to elongate the locating hole. A 1mm drill bit and a bit of care made that a fairly simple job. Like you said, nice and easy to R&R the commander.

Has anyone here with an A'PEXi PowerFC and the Commander tried to use a PS2 (as in Wintel PC, not Playstation) extension cable and did it work? Apart from one less pin in the Commander cable they look damn close.
