  1. Okay so the rotors GSL sent me are 320mm (as ordered). I started to get the jack out to take a wheel off and realised this would be a bad idea for my back injury.. so I'm gonna have to get a friend to give me hand later. However, I did measure the thickness of the rotors and they seem to be around 31-32mm which would indicate they're the 330mm rotors... which seems odd for a 2009 sedan... I thought this was only a 2009 coupe option and sedans all had the 320's? All the specs I've seen say the 320mm rotors are 28mm thick (as are the new ones) but my current rotors are definitely not 28mm. As you can see, I don't have the Akebonos (attached) I'm so confused right now.
  2. For sure; you talk sense! This is where I wish I was more hands-on myself If only they had the sense to make the nav and stereo a simple swap
  3. Good info Tony I'm always a bit wary of going by the G37 manuals though as they had so many little things only for the US models
  4. Well I assumed they are 320mm as ordered... will double check tonight. Mechanic didn't say; just said they don't fit. Clearly I put too much faith in people who I assume should know this stuff. To be fair I guess they're a hard car to get parts for. So frustrating
  5. Surely it doesn't make sense that a 2009 V36 370GT would have 330mm rotors? Weren't they only on the V36 350GTs? I know they're definitely not the akebonos...
  6. Both Foolishly no; I had faith LOL Live and learn
  7. So I ordered the parts mentioned here and they didn't fit my car Typical
  8. Don't everyone speak at once LOL
  9. This is what I loved about the chaser. It was great (and that sound). What I didn't like was the ETCS which wouldn't let you have any fun around corners. Would limit power until you were travelling in more of a straight line. I'd look into disabling that Old JZX thread about it http://www.jzx100.com/forum/topic/89-disabling-etcs/?p=50830 Also, if you aren't aware, North Shore Toyota (NZ) on the JZX forum is a great source for parts. Often cheaper than buying here.
  10. I'd put my money on the JZX... Might be a different story against a V36 though "The tacho needle flies around the dial faster than you would believe possible and our test automatic nails 0-100km/h in a scant 5.65 seconds before crossing 400 metres in a stonking 13.18. We then test rolling acceleration. The automatic kicks down and 80-120 disappears in 3.4 seconds, leaving us absolutely gob smacked." My chaser never felt that fast when it was stock... that quarter mile time sounds a bit far fetched for a stock JZX to me. Plus the JZX110 is heavier than the JZX100. But who cares about 0-100's now adays. I'm seriously considering a car I can drive closer to the limit through the hills like a little hot hatch with awesome handling. V36 is pretty boring
  11. Sounds good Or we could meet somewhere there is food. Something like Bombay Bicycle Club - they have a decent amount of parking now although maybe not enough on a Saturday night perhaps. Other suggestions?
  12. sweet! looks pretty pro Love cars in that colour
  13. haha yeh for the time being mad code injection by the way lol
  14. Yeh M146 @ 20" You can check for yourself - I bought from autocraze.com.au
  15. New wheels are on! Pretty happy with the fitment, however the swift springs now don't give it *quite* enough drop. Its a good trade of looks and practicality, and it's at a legal height. I'm not interested in coilovers so I'll probably just leave it as is. Maybe try some Eibachs...
  16. Or maybe one of these http://www.j-specimports.com/lineup/Nissan/Figaro/FK10/id-435
  17. TOYOTA MARK X 350S GS BY GAZOO RACING What you really want is the +M Supercharged by Modellista but it's not eligible for import....
