well, all four corners got a visit from the dent fairy.... and on later inspection after thinking i might be able to replace the panels, i discovered buckles in the roof above both A pillars..... hitting the parkway wall at 100 clicks is never really that good for anything... lol

hey guys... i am trying to off load my S1 R33 which i wrote off a few years back.. it has had the interior pulled out and most of the loom pulled back into the cab. was in the process of stripping it for parts etc but it has become a project thats taking far to long to finish and i need the space... engine with about 115 000 or so K's (would need to check the odometer) on the clock. good strong motor. auto gear box ( ) serviced about 3 mths before accident. motor has only had 12psi pumped through it. factory sunroof. all but driver side glass in the vehicle. had to replace my drivers door glass thanks to jerk thieves. looking for $3200 ono you take it away.... make an offer i am flexible on this. this would be great as to replace your motor if it has died or if your doing a r32 rb20/vl commodore conversion.. or what ever else you wanted to put it in.. if you are interested you can PM me or email me at [email protected] or sms me on 0402945546. i will try and get a couple of pics organised.. but if you'd like to come see it we can organise a time..

yeah that would be me.... liked the look and decided to try something different with her... the only thing now i think i'll have to do is get some narva xenon blue lights as the standard suckers clash with the bright white from the LED's..

EDIT........ the wire has been checked... it has been shown that it is spliced in for the turbo timer... so it has been there since the previous owner had the vehicle... so now it is time to get out the soldering iron and fix this thing right... i'd love to know why they used a scotch lock on the ECU loom... but i'll never know.... oh well..

hey guys... thanks heaps for the responses and also the lend of a set of coils... but as luck would have it, it was NOT the coil packs... i'd done the oligitorry clean of the existing coils. checked for cracks. etc.. after that didn't worked pulled out the MAP sensor and cleaned it, cleaned all the plugs i could get to and that didn't do it either.... so decided to pull the kick panel off and have a look for any earth wires or something around the ECU.. and viola, found the culprit.. there was a wire spliced into with a scotch lock. the splice was right up near the ECU plug and nothing had been tapped up to support it.. so after fiddling with the wire and having the problem come and go i tapped it up and tapped it against the loom.. so far today with driving around town flat out, normal driving, on the secondary boost (12psi) and hitting a rough dirt road, no dramas.. prior to al this i had noticed that when i cornered around a round a bout that the problem had the tendancy to show and stay or show and disapear.. my theory (which seems so far to work) is the weight of the scotch lock was causing the wire to move in the loom and in turn causing a short.. i believe it was spliced into for the dual stage boost controller.. so i'm going to double check that theory witht he mechanic and then get them to solder it in properly and tap it up better.. but VICTORY IS MINE!!!!!! so nice having a car that runs well again...

hey guys.. i'm currently suffering some intermittent missing issues with my r33.. i was wondering if anyone had a spare set of S2 R33 gt-st ignition coils that are working that i may be able to borrow or buy cheap for testing purposes.. i have a feeling it is them but not 100% obviously.. if you could let me know that would be great.. either pm or give me a ring on 0402945546... i'm also happy to leave some collateral as i know what it's like when you lend something and it never comes back.. cheers

hey guys... just a little warning for those in the Phillip region.. i belive that there may be a person or persons targeting skylines (33's in particular) floating around.. i have had 2 attempted break ins with what i believe to be the want to steal the car or as jmany pasts from it as they can for their own vehicle.. i believe this as last night at about 2:30am my alarm went off and we disturbed someone breaking into my car.. upon further inspection it turned out they had unbolted the front bumper lip on my series 2 and attempted to pull it off.. the adhesive that was used must have been a good one cause they gave up and smashed the drivers window instead.. i believe they may have been trying to take the whole car.. word to the wise, if you have a skyline and you don't have an alarm, GET ONE....... it has saved mine a couple of times now... grrrrrrrr.... i got lucky and we heard it go off.. i was even luckier that i had a spare glass in my garage and was able to fix her today.. still points of damage that i am cranky as all F@#$ about, especially when i've worked hard to get this close to where i want it.. now it's going to require more blood (hopefully theirs) sweat and tears to get back on track... so please be warned and keep a sharp eye out... cheers.

spotted tonight around 5pm, 2 silver r33's in phillip.... 1 was out the back of magnet mart and i think an employies... gave a late wave.... the other was accross the road from where auto one used to be/ still is... hasven't paid that much attention... :-) whoops... i was the white r33........

also, spotted a maroon 32 and a yellow 34 turning right on to melrose drive off of hindmarsh heading towards the shell and first choice at about 3pm today... i was the white 33 1 car back behind the 34...
