Just don't go where I went... Unless you don't want your air intake hose clamp tightened and feel like driving around with no boost and your call stalling 80% of the time its idling...

Oh were you with the other R31 guys that were leavin? Spotted a Maroon R33 GTS-T this morning heading towards the airport just after 8. Also saw about 5 different R33s and a black Supra on the Monaro Highway about 6ish on my way home from Autotech. Was sorta paying attention to the road but no one I recognised.

Where is such a shop that can give 4 new ones??? I dunno if any old wheel place can do that can they?

Turns out the other part of the hose that I had tightened was loose also but was not plainly obvious to see. All fixed! And yes was the autoelectrical dude's fault!

I should add that I know it's quite possible that I have more than one problem here. Could be any number of things as to why its cutting out. Air hissing and already 1 loose hose found likely to be caused by the person playing around in that area on Friday.

264 in, 272 ex, yes and I haven't checked but will have Ed check tomorrow. They were perfect from Tuesday until when I picked the car up on Friday afternoon.

Well started doing it the drive home after I picked it up... Few times when I stopped at lights it'd just cut out so I'd have to restart it. Doesn't do it every time but idles a bit funny too like it's threatening to do it. Did it 4 times yesterday when I drove home Also when I was driving to a friend's place I started losing boost/power and could hear a hissing noise... At the friend's place, I checked under the bonnet to see if I could work out wtf was going on. Found that a clamp was loose on the big air intake pipe on the right hand side (the one with twin turbo written on it) and the rubber hosey part coming off it was slipped down. Fixed that and tightened it and seemed to fix the probs breifly but happened again when driving home. Checked the same spot and this time it looked fine... Getting it all checked by Autotech tomorrow to be safe and I haven't really driven it much since cause it's pretty embarrassing!!! Looks like I'm stalling all the time

If it's his fault that flamin mongrel is going to have a new asshole ripped tomorrow. In saying that, innocent until proven guilty so we wait and see. I'm veeeeeeery angry at the moment though.

Aw did my regular online search for these and came across my own thread Been stalking everyone who sells a car with these on it to see if I can buy their wheels but no joy there yet either.

Ahh refreshing to hear that's something everyone agrees on! I'm not sure when it'll be done yet, now time to let the bank account have a rest after the work that's already been done, a job changeover and christmas! Goes into Autotech tomorrow to work out wtf is wrong with it. Just hasn't been right ever since the autoelectrician touched it... We *think* its a hose but we'll see tomorrow.

Spotted a black R34 on Adelaide Ave today, think it had a Qld plate on it... Wasn't anyone I recognised from here - was gonna wave but he didn't look too friendly... (LOL sorry if it's someone from here but that's how it looked!!)

Ended up costing $300 all up. Yay for airconditioned cool ness!!!
