Pics from a local meet here in Trinidad and Tobago (southern most island nation of the Caribbean). Pics taken by a local photographer with great skills. Last 2 are of my Cefiro.

Thanks for the advice. What's your take on running it with a larger aftermarket aluminum rad?

A friend of mine is trying to install a thermostat designed for the NEO (PN: 21200-V7205) in my series 2 RB25DET and so far he has managed to crack two of the housings when tightening. Is the R34 thermostat housing different and therefore necessary to install the thermo? Is there a "ring" or washer that is supposed to be used when installing the thermostat?

Rb20 Vs Rb25 Series Ii Timing Belt
Conrad 2NR replied to Conrad 2NR's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Thanks a lot man. Also, is anyone 100% sure that a RB20DE(T) exhaust manifold gasket (between head and manifold) is the exact same as the RB25DET? -
Where I live I can easily find a RB20DE timing belt however I wanted to confirm they're in fact both the same. Searching online I get two part numbers. 13028-20P25 13028-5L327 Is there in fact a difference between both?

Perhaps 18" dish and raise the front.

S14 With Neo Rb25 Drift Car.
Conrad 2NR replied to Simon-S14's topic in Projects, Overhauls and Build-ups
I'm guessing, drift car = lowering the rev limit to prevent anything from breaking. -
Try Hassan from Pasea. 729-8684 You should get decent prices. Was quoted a decent figure on a RB26 engine alone...close to the NEO price you quoted.
-
Where he's from a SR20 would cost more than a RB25 and a RB30 short block can sometimes cost twice the amount of a complete RB25.

Thanks a lot! If I were in Australia I would get you a beer.

Thanks alot for the quick reply. I'm going with the car to pick up the CAS, so basically what you're saying is: 1) Look for one that fits the plug (it's easy to unplug rather than remove the entire thing). 2) Ensure it also has a rubber plug in the centre?
-
I'm looking to find a replacement for my CAS in my RB25DET SII. I've used the search and looking at them I'm still left a little confused and would like a 100% sure answer before going to my contact for a replacement. Now the guy I'm supposed to check for my replacement says he has a number of RB CAS' but he's not sure from which motors they're from (either RB20/25 or 26). What I would like to know, short of removing my CAS and walking with it, is their anyway to identifying which CAS would work in the SII?
-
I think mine is doing the same :S So far I'm leaning towards the CAS on my RB25. From 4500 up on a dyno sheet it can be seen where the graph drops off from 145 hp and tries to climb again only to reach a max of 145 @ the rev limit.
-
What CAS is that you're using? Mine is a Series II and looks different.
-
What are you doing for the center console?

Said it on nissansilvia and I'll say it again... DAMN!!! That's hot! Perfect stance with the perfect wheels.

This is what happens when people actually use the search I bumped an old thread because I am experiencing similar problems. Dyno'd my car and it barely made anywhere close to what it's supposed to.
-
Ever resolved this problem? Experiencing the same on a completely stock RB25DET. Didn't do the conversion (into an A31) myself so I'm about to purchase a multimeter to start checking if the fuel pump is receiving the required voltage or if the coilpacks, AFM or TPS are failing.

Loving the tinted weather shields.

If 9" +33, it would be a lil inward of the guards. 5mm or 10mm slip-ons FTW.
