been all over the shop getting quotes for fitting my intercooler (gtr on gts-t) The mob ive just talked to said, the gtr cooler will work awesomely, but he wants to mod the plenum and move the throttle body to reduce piping is this a good idea? the guy said he would use a curved section up to the front of the plenum i like the sound of reduce piping, but have heard stories about custom plenums being dodgy and not flowing air to all cylinders whats the go with that? is there anyway we can test that all cylinders do get a propper air flow with the custom plenum? is this the best way to install an intercooler?

my line did that when i turned up the boost plugs fixed it

today in brisso its 33 degrees (feels like more) for the first time evar today my skyline wouldnt start after a lengthy drive during the middle of the day (to get tyres and intercooler quotes), the petrol tank was full but after lots of driving it was half emptied today we got home and wifey went to start the car and it wouldnt turn over plenty of clicking and wirring, no ignition when she got out of the car there was a loud (easily audible) sucking noise from the petrol tank cap the other day i had to open it because i could hear the pressure behind it she did the same there was a loud rushing of air sound and when she retried starting the car started straight away this sounds like vapour lock to me is it just because its so hot today in brisso and we used so much fuel? do i have a tank breather hole blocked? the car is midway between its 100k service (all the easy stuff done, the timing belt and a few gaskets, plus cooling fan are being done on monday) should i mention it to my service people?

dont buy any car if you're scared of depreciation cars arent investments (most of them anyway)

i get a sqeak if i lean my leg up against the door, the panelling there sort of creaks so i just dont lean my leg up against it and its all good

suncorp just wont insure anyone with a turbo under 25 although we did write a suck up letter and get wifey covered for 6 months before she was 25 didnt hurt that we had been with suncorp for years and we had our home and contents insurance with them as well (which i threatened to take elsewhere if they didnt cover us for the 6 months before wifey was 25)

just get it checked out first by someone u trust we got a heap of minor problems fixed by the dealer before we took the car away saved us heaps for minimal outlay (i think it cost 75 bux to get the car inspected) ud be completely mad not to get it done
