Would be a matter of taking it somewhere and getting them to put a wide band air fuel meter on it, it could be a collapsed cat converter or just out of tune.

Thanks yeah does look exactly like mine and after talking it over with a mate he said exactly the same. He also suggested it would be for a 32 GTR instead of a 33 (different G sensor?)

Could be some type of TSC, but mine already has a HKS TSC and EDA. might have to borrow a mates 33 or 32 GTR and have a play

The car already has a HKS TSC, so im guessing you might be on the right track with over-riding the G sensor some how.

Ok, got this little box with my GTR. Not sure what the hell it actually does, but was told it makes the ATTESSA kick in quicker. The plugs do match up to those on the G sensor, have plugged it in but the AWD like came on so thought i'd better not chance driving it. There's no serial or part numbers on it anywhere, the only thing is 40B on the pcb inside.

Mines just got a HKS EDA (electronic drag adaptor) and a TSC, but also a mystery Kansai Service box with a toogle switch on it that seems to plug into the G sensor.

Well there was actually 4 of them, just the other one sunday was a little camera shy

Was an excellent weekend i think, be interesting to see if they run it next year or can the whole idea. Great effort for the club attitude award, and was good to see a few of the non entered SAU guys wandering around.

Dales right, no need for dual solenoid. Picked up one of the new Eboost Street for the R last year, think it was around $450 not long after release.
