KR4-GTR replied to I WANT A GTR's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Just saw your post! damn your cool! haha On a side note, didnt sell the car, she's too beautiful and there are more important things going on in my life other than getting a R34 GTR -
bump! still searching for a set with good rubber guys!
-
Hi all, I'm looking for a set of R34 GTR rims, preferably with rubber and located in Sydney so I can pickup and pay cash, but postage / courier - etc is okay. If you have a set please call me on 0434 929 257 and let me know the condition of the rims, brand of rubber, % of rubber remaining and also how much your after. Thanks!

She hates the fact that i'm considering selling it. She doesnt like R34 GTR's as much. Its actually one of the main reasons im holding back on a sale. I'd like to be able to just hold on to it, give the car to her one day soon and then get my 34 GTR. I've run it past her but she hates driving manual cars so cant see that happening!

Gtr Skylines Collectors Items In Future?
KR4-GTR replied to Fat-magz's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
And just to clarify - with the vspec II comparison, i dont deserve full credit - i got it from the 3rd page, top post. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ni....html&st=40 When you think about it, i can see where he is coming from. There is no badged R33 GTR vspec II. BUT there is the revised vspec series 3 model with xenons, updated synchro's, red stitching interior - etc, you know the specs! -

The way i read this, there is no other way of taking this except for it being a shot at myself. I was mainly just curious incase anybody knew an estimated colour count made out of the 1002 cars for example from that year, or if there anyone knows the set average per year. I wouldnt think it would be an even spread across all colours. Anyway, what is interesting to me may not particularly be interesting to you. No need to ridicule me over it. On a side note, i still personally believe KR4 silver is one of the rarer R33 GTR colours (being the series 3 / R34 silver). Majority of the silver ones are the early model lighter KL0 silver, which isnt my taste. But, your thoughts are probably completely different. Either way, im not here to try and make my car look rare, i dont think it would serve any benefit. I didnt even bring my car up in this thread and as soon as i saw it my response was 'nah, its not rediculously rare'. But that being said, it still did take me over 3 years to find a close to stock, respectable example. Anyway, end of the day, as with all cars - it is just a car - and this is just a forum. And lets be honest, i dont think hardly anyone really cares what anyone else thinks on here! haha -
so this is what it feels like to be spotted!

Gtr Skylines Collectors Items In Future?
KR4-GTR replied to Fat-magz's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Just stumbled on here. If he's talking about my car, nah its not rediculously rare - apparently falls into the same rareness class as a r32 gtr vspec II. 1994 R32 GTR vspec II - 1303 made 1997 Series 3 R33 GTR vspec - 1002 made Im not sure how many of the 1002 r33 series 3 vspecs were delivered in KR4, and also with the factory nismo oil cooler kit. Or if you want to stretch it, are still in close to mint and original condition today. Its anyones guess really. So if you look at it that way, i guess it may be rare haha! I've only ever seen one other one and its in the nissan gallery in japan. I wish i did know the specs on how many of them came out of factory like that though - vspec, KR4 and with the factory nismo oil cooler. That would be interesting! Anyway, its not as rare as your N1 Brandon, but it has factory air con haha only kidding mate! btw - love your exhaust, saw the pics in your garage link! -

Great thread, thanks guys! I've printed a copy of it without the keyboard wars and will be holding on to it for future reference If anyone else has any valuable input to add - please do as im sure it will come in handy. Cheers!

You're right! From memory there were only 1303 R32 V-Spec II's made and only 1002 1997 Series 3 R33 GTR Vspec's made. Please correct me if im wrong. From that figure, i'm not sure how many were made in KR4 silver AND delivered with the factory nismo oil cooler - etc. Probably not a double digit? haha I wonder what sort of condition the rest of them are in today!? Anyway, this is another discussion. We dont want to get busted for general chat in here!

Its all my fault that it hasn't sold! I've been a tough cookie and rejected offers that were 7.5% less than my asking price. I know what else is available for sale, i also know the history of some of them in great detail (that might be sad on my behalf, but i did step into the skyline / GTR scene around 8 years ago, 3 of which i spent searching for this one! haha). Based on a shapshot of the current market, i've priced my car accordingly - and i'm glad you think its fair. I've said it before, and everyone already knows - but you get what you pay for with GTR's. The car actually almost sold a few days ago, its a shame that it fell through! He seemed like a really nice guy, knew what he wanted and deserved a good one. I dropped the price because i liked him, and also because i knew it was going to a good home - which to me are the most important things in a potential buyer! haha Had another guy come and take a look today - he was pretty much speechless while i showed him and looked like this the whole time - Again, his offer was just a LITTLE bit less than my bottom line so it was declined. We'll see what happens. Anyway, heres a few more pics i took this afternoon, maybe they'll gauge some more interest! My girlfriends 25t is in some of the pics, but hers is obviously not for sale! As always, any questions or requests - please don't hesitate to ask. Have a great night guys, and thanks again for the great comments!

Sorry about that. The car has rego until april next year, so no worries in that space. Car is also fully owned and doesnt owe any cash or anything suss. On a side note, a brand new heavy duty battery was also recently installed (cost just under $300) and the car just had a full service around 2,000km ago. Brake pads still have around 70% remaining, whole body is straight without a single dent, etc, etc. I could babble on for ages, but wont bore you. haha
