  1. consider yourself lucky i actually had to go to the epa site in macloed and i live in frankston. It was damn far. I passed with 85dB on a cat back 3.5 inch stainless kakimoto system. I also got a high powered vehicle fine on the way back for my troubles. Blardy cops. I eventually got off the high powered fine tho. but still pretty harsh after serving and passing an EPA summons.
  2. Does this use noble gases like xenon? or are they just bulbs? how much for full skyline kit 10000K with high beam? thanx
  3. thanks heaps evil, do you think it will be hard if u get canaried to get off it? because of that hole, because it is just above the chassis rails? i don't really wanna spend more money on some engineers report. I'm guessing you got it professionally done? regards, Rom.
  4. yeah mate i already have a mate and me and u and another from queensland and another from the US. We will need a few more. The body kit place said it can be done cheaper if they keep the mould but i'll keep posted on prices. at the moment copying costs are 400 for skirts so yeah we will need to get a few more poeple thanx.
  5. Dj lethal, what and where did u get this thermo fan? and what is the difference? i heard that you get a little more power because of less drain on the engine but how does it work? i also heard that when it isn't on the engine is quieter but when it is on its so damn loud. Could you please elaborate, ie. size, where u got it from, easy installation? Have you had any problems with the other things? hole just above chassis rails and bent chassis rails? thanx Rom
  6. I am thinking about getting a hybrid intercooler for my r33 gtst and was wondering if any of you victorians had a few answers to some queries. I stumbled on some instructions on how to do it and have a few questions: - supposedly you have to cut the fanblades to fit the top pipe, is this true? does it affect the cooling of the radiator? - A 3 inch hole has to be cut in the drivers side just above the chassis rail. What problems have any of you had if you have been canaried to get a road worthy from vicroads, as even if you take the cooler out before inspection there is still a hole there. - Also supposedly the chassis rail tips must be bent a little bit on each end to fit the front mount, again is this true? and wouldn't playing around with the chassis rails render the car unroadworthy? And again have any of you had problems getting roadworthys with this? If any of you guys have any other suggestions can ya help me out. I know the blitz end tank does sort of a u turn and goes back to the passenger side so then holes don't need to be cut as they use original ones, but later i will get a forward facing plenum and having those types of FMIC doesn't make sense. thanx.
  7. how many way adjustable are thay? ride and height i'm assuming how many different ways, and whats the spring rate? can ya email piks [email protected] thanx rom.
  8. have you got any better pictures of the throttle body and plenum?
  9. have u got the lifters? if so can ya say a price. thanx rom.
  10. is there much difference with removing it for an r33 gtst? i saw on www.nismo.com.au its just a bar but do i have to remove all that stuff as well as rerouting etc? I ain't much of a mechanic so yeah can ya help me out. thanx. rom.
  11. what is included in these conversion kits? will it fit a series one gtst r33? series two lights are heaps different. Are they just globes or what? The beamers have PIAA as standard but thay are proper gas lights arent they? not normal globes as such but xenon gas burners? If you want a proper xenon gas light conversion you have to change everything, the headlight assembly and the burners and then the voltage is different it starts out real low then gets higher it would cost around 4 grand. How much better will this kit look? although R34's have xenon as standard or option coz everyone i've seen up close hase xenon written inside, but not all have the blue tinge. correct me if i'm rong (which i think i am on a lot of things)
  12. Yeah man Whens the next one after this? I'm so strapped for cash at the moment because of drifting lol. So i wanna do it in a controlled environment. Also it is technically owned by my parents business and is registered under my mums name do i need to bring a Statutory declaration, and do we need helmets? thanks, Rom
  13. Yeah i am organising a group of people to buy one pair of genuine Jun side skirts. Once the skirts are down here we will get them copied at a chosen fibreglass/bodykit shop. I have been quoted from jun 130500 yen which is around 1600 dollars. One person will keep the original skirts but they will have to pay a few hundred dollars extra than those who will have copies made. Simply because the others will have to pay additional charges to get them made by the fibreglassers and the one who keeps the original has the satisfaction of it being genuine. an example 5 people 1*600+4*250=1600 ie the person who paid 600 will keep the original skirts. I am getting my front bar done either on monday or tuesday so will ask how much it will be to get copies made to be used as a guideline. melbourne buyers only as we will need to have an agreed fibreglass/bodykit shop to minimise production costs i have one already in mind as they are doing my front bar but if others have suggestions thats fine, we must all agree though. Pictures can be found at these links: http://www.junauto.co.jp/products/aero-par.../side-step1.jpg http://www.junauto.co.jp/products/aero-par.../side-step3.jpg http://www.junauto.co.jp/products/aero-par.../side-step2.jpg the more people we have the better imagine if you paid around 600 bux for an orignal pair of side skirts when they retail in japan for 84000 yen not including freight, this is a bargain.
  14. japcab keep your plates man. They'll b worth heaps soon. 400 bux is a bargain for plates like these. yeah dude i'd keep em or i'd buy em but don't have money.
  15. yeah man me and a few ppl might organise to get original shipped in from japan and get it copied and one person will keep the original but they would have to pay a few hundred bux extra coz the others would have to pay to get it copied. u interested? i have sourced a fake JUN front bar i'll be getting it on monday. i'll let you know how it goes.
  16. i'm getting a JUN one installed on monday. so i have no need for mine. I stacked my car and it has scratches. i'll try and get some pix. i'll give it to ya for 80 bux because of damage. Theres scratches on the underside too but every other bar would have those, they aren't so bad.
  17. Wanted JUN side skirts to suit r33 GTST (ECR 33). Fake or real doesn't matter. PM me or email [email protected]

  23. Hey benm wot mods have you done to achieve 192kW @ 12 pounds? I have the same car as you and was wondering what was a good mod for the money, after reading this pineapples review i will certainly get some in the near future. But any other ideas, suggestions? Atm i'v got a 3.5 inch stainless cat back kakimoto exhaust and a apexi pod with a home made heat sheild which utilises the stocky snorkel. I will soon be getting 3 inch from turbo and a high flow cat after that wot would you suggest? I just want a pretty tuff streeter and wanna car that can drift a little better (coilovers so damn exp tho, ah well i can have a wish list).
