  9. here is the thread for doing it to R33... im sure it will work for a 32 tho... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=12932
  10. looks sweet man, phat job well done now all you need is one for the other side
  11. find a public weighbrigde... or go to your local waste transfer station (tip) where they weight you on the way in and on the way out to figure out how much crap you offloaded... just ask em nicely, im sure they wont mind taking 3 seconds out of their *busy* day to help a brother out
  12. hi guys, aparently these were an option on the gtr, but you can actually make one up yourself... read here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=12932
  13. sweet, thanx guys.... im pretty sure i would have just taken it off and tighted it back up anyways, but its nice to know it hasnt been 'magically' adjusted!!!
  14. yep thats great thanx dude its already been fitted in my car so the holes are already good to go, i just need to take the bar out so i can work on the battery and put a couple of shelves in under the hicas unit.... i was just a bit unsure as to wether or not it had to be 'magically' tightened when i put it back it, but ill just do as you did and tightn the begeebers out of it!!!
  15. Hey guys, I need to pull the rear strut brace out for a day to do some work in the general batters/hicas area.... anybody know if its been precision tightened with a torque wrench or something, or do i just do it up like a mother****er when i put it back? Thanx
  16. logitech.... :S man you are impatient... for everybody who is wondering they were $139.95 at EB, but you can order then from lik-sang for $56.... heheh, i think ill be getting 4 extension leads and running them to the front panel in the ashtray!!! just a guess but hal's relay is for turning on/off the power circuit between the distribution block and the inverter, obviously if the inverter is connected directly to the block then it will be powered up all the time - thus draining juice... so you just use the remote amp turn on wire from the HU to trigger the relay which will turn on the inverter.... now he has to modify the power switch so that as soon as the xbox's PSU receives power it boots up im gunna do my setup very similar, except im putting the relay in between the battery and the distribution block, since the amps are going to be connected to the block they may as well power on at the same time as the xbox, so as soon as the HU powers up so does everything in the boot... might get a 40A just in case, dont wanna blow the boot up just yet!.... maybe should get an extinguisher as well!!! here is a link to the relay to point u in the right direction http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...roduct_ID=15175
  17. so here the carbon fibre bonnet plan once the box is in http://coppermine.e-clips.com.au/displayim...?album=20&pos=1 oh and the interior http://coppermine.e-clips.com.au/displayim...?album=20&pos=0 thanx fattdex for pimping the p/s work and milk for letting me 'burrow' your interior
  18. yep definately a good idea, just pack the box in a shit load of foam, she'll be right
  19. yep you sure could, obviously you'll need a burner but yep there is no reason why not... just remember the drive doesnt have shock protection so thats up to you, and if you skip on a dvd your gunna miss a shit load of data compared to a CDDA.... and for the price of a HDD why not just put a 250GB in and fill that?
  20. oh you gettin a volvo dale try this one its got everything your after, its NEW, its TURBO, its LOW KMS and its DAD FRIENDLY..... http://tinyurl.com/nvz2 i mean come on, heated leather seats and woodgrain, who doesnt dream about that

  22. QUOTE]Originally posted by eriktufa do you think I can remove my laptop monitor and put into my car ? already thought about this (check the xbox thread)... obviously if its still connected to the notebook then there is no problem... however if you intend on using just the screen as a TV then its a bit tricky... you either need to build a signal converter to take the tv signal from your AV box -> VGA(DB15) which you can buy for just under 100... alternatively you can always try to decode the signaling on your notebook monitor (there are sites on the net that list these for some screens) and then build yourself a litle converter box so the tv will take a pal input signal... basically = pain in the ass, if your doing this to save money then spend 300 on a shonky tv instead of a nice 2-6k indash one
  23. ok now go get yourself some 280+ sand paper and sand off the silver from the lettering... then get the paint code off your VIN plate and find a place that will make the paint (2pac) up fo ya in a pressure pack... you also need a base coat and clear to go over the top... the 2pac in a can should keep u busy for a few days, its against OH&S to supply it so your gunna have to find somewhere dodgy....
