I'm in Hong Kong ATM coming back on the 1st it's a bit hard to help cause you wud have to trust me by sending me the money to get it for you, did you want me to get a price check anyways?
-
Using my Hong Kong License because I'm a student I don't have to change it over so it's recognized as a Full license, I also have an international one but i can only use that for the first 3 months everytime I come back into AUS I think

hey guys sorry I've been a bit lacking in the forums lately i'm in Japan on a boarding trip but um just to clarify it does sound like a joke my uncle would pull but he's quite cool sometimes, and this is one of them he will let me drive it but just not as often without insurance and to the guy who says I cant drive it on P's this is not in Victoria this is Queensland, and he's on the old Queensland laws where he is able to drive it, as for me I'm on my Full's. My uncle is VERY cool, but he's also very law conscience he doesn't really care about us crashing (well obviously he does) but more so 3rd party damages....yea he's pretty awesome Update: I'm pretty getting rejected flat on my ass on every inquiry we got a couple but it's like 4g's for 3rd party!!!

PICS ARE UP DAMMIT HAHAH...isn't she just gorgeous?
-
Ugh I hate insurance companies...been on hold for ages with this FamousInsurance ppl uploading photo now
-
Ok I'm in a little bit of a predicament my uncle up in Brisbane has recently purchased a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder and says his son (my awesome cousin) and I can drive it as long as we can find an insurance company that would cover us (without a ridiculous price tag) I was almost certain JustCar would insure us but I had little luck there I was hoping you guys would now any insurance companies that would even consider our application? Little info We havent had any claims, were both under 21, I'm on my Full's my cousin is on his P's and we both REALLY want to drive this car Oh and Shannon's just rejected me as well....this is not looking good Pictures (By Demand)

Dude, I'm disappointed it got approved for trials, I'm even more dissapointed in the ISP's who are supporting the trials

I know this is a Skyline Forum but if you're an internet user and Australian this applies to you: I don't know how many people are aware of this but the Rudd Government is trying to introduce what has now been coined as "The Great Australian Firewall" being an IT student I've been following the development of this proposal from the very beginning. At first I felt it was like a joke there was no way the Australian people would allow for something like this to happen but the plan is making significant progress and trial runs maybe already running on YOUR ISP. Let me explain this to you if you're kind of thinking to yourself what the hell are you on about? The Great Australian Firewall is a virtual wall which filters all information being sent you computer which you're on right now to the outside world. This means all content you view, articles your read, videos you watch must be pre-approved by the Government before you can actually view it. You might be thinking GREAT finally were putting a stop to those sick bastards who are uploading unacceptable content to the web what's your problem? Well my problem is (and so is most of anyone who knows how these things works) is that it's not perfect; actually to be honest it's far from it. The pro's of the filter: 1. Stops SOME unacceptable content from being viewed 2. ....it actually ends there The con's of the filter: 1. It's easily bypassed, most methods which will bypass the firewall are already being used by the people who do these sorts of things anyway (Methods such as, proxies, Virtual Personal Networks, and P2P, which is completely unregulated and is where the majority of "unacceptable" content is being shared) 2. It WILL slow the internet down. The speed of your internet is subjective to many factors, a few being the distance between you and your destination, you don't realize how far a single request packet has to travel before it will reach the destination you intended it too. If you want a very basic example then open your command prompt and type "Tracert www.google.com" this will tell you how many servers your request packet will travel through before it reaches Google's server to send you their homepage. You might be thinking 3 maybe 4 servers? Your exchange, your ISP, then to Google right? Well at my current setup (which is in Hong Kong and is considered to have "Fast Internet") I have a minimum of 8 hops, you might be thinking so what's 1 more? The problem with adding the filter is that ALL content going in and out of computer in Australia will be going through that 1 hop (the filter) any IT knowledgeable user will tell you that the amount of requests that the server will have to handle is horrendous and has the potential to slow the internet down to a crawl...and think about it...what happens if that filter fails?....no internet.... 3. Initial costs are estimated around $50 Million...where did you think that money came from? That's YOUR money...and that's not including the millions that it's going to take to sustain the program 4. It doesn't block everything & it already has a list of 10,000 websites one of which is UK's Internet Watch Foundation, a charity foundation which have the same goals as The Great Australian Firewall...okkk Look I know this post is biased an might be removed by a MOD but if this goes through it effects you directly I don't intend for this to start a moral argument on these forums, your position on this matter is completely your own personal opinion and some of this is mine, but if you want to share it I am willing to read it. I'd love a filter which would properly stop unacceptable content and deter people from abusing the internet in that manner, however I do feel that the internet is one of the last places which is regulated almost solely by it's users, I believe of freedom of speech. I just wanted to make everyone aware of what going on if you haven't heard about it already and spread awareness on the subject I recommend watching this video I just found this video it is very cynical but actually address the points very well

I'm gonna get a Tesla Roadster, Stick that in a middle of a Skyline cruise, get sent a EPA notice and draw up a shit storm
-
Got the V.I.O POV.1 from parents, originally for my snowboarding trip coming up in Jan but I cant wait to put this thing on my R33 during a big ass cruz
-
DAMNIT i'm out of town I wont be back till FEB! Is it possible to sue or file a complaint? With that amount of skylines there is no feasible way that they could differentiate one exhaust from the other and issuing mass notices feels like....SPAM! ("I have 50 emails here sir but I don't know if they are all active" "Screw it send it to all of them we gotta get at least one hit")....Is it me or to they seem to work on the same policies?
-
Yea I'm using my international license, which is why I can go up to 0.05 while i'm 19 lol but i'm not that stupid...I'm stupid...not that stupid....if you REALLY need that point you can put it on one of my licensese
-
Screw it Ferah get a push bike not only will you save a butt load of money imagine the millage you'd get!...haha having never driven one, i've heard Wankel engines are something else to drive, suppose to be the smoothest engines, let us know how your test drive goes
-
Dude seriously need to let go of that Jazz card
-
I always thought Wankel Engines were more reliable due to their design, less parts, simpler, less things to go wrong....
-
Congrats on your sale Ferah, So I guess this teaches us all a lesson....if we need a car sold ask Ferah, I bet a 1K commission will make her more that happy haha anyway hope you find a good car, and everyone who is recommending and EVO yea their hot but I cant for the life of me recall ever seeing a women driving one (Not being sexist, just seems that they don't appeal to women as much as they do guys)
-
To be honest I hate that guy, I know why you listen to him but after living in the states for awhile you just start to see the seedy old man that he is

I don't know how much you guys listen to Triple M's Spoonman at night but it was something I loved doing especially during late night drives. For all of you guys who don't know he was canceled on the 26th I doubt it will happen but I seriously hope he will come back or another station will pick him up
