A lot of you say i am stupid for wanting to beat other drivers. Although my join date is recent, i've been browsing the forums for a fairly long time before i registered since i was looking at skylines but didn't really want to register until i got a Skyline. From browsing the forums i noticed a fair few of you have said stuff about how you've smashed some guy who wanted to drag you etc. If you say i am stupid in wanting to beat a person to the speed limit then at least be honest and not hypocritical. Not saying any of these in a mean way, just making a bit of a defence for myself.

How much does it cost for a Test and Tune, is Willowbank in Brisbane? And i have no insurance, only extended third party. It costs me $3,500 a year for normal insurance with Just Car, with some other insurance company it was around $5000 and the rest won't insure me.

Funny you should mention a barina, its what i drove for the last 4 months or so. I still got people trying to race me though coz everyone likes to show off to a P plater. To be absolutely honest, its more my friends that i just want to beat. Once i beat them that'd be it, there'd be no point in proving my car is faster more than once. Also i like one of my friends sister's and i don't want to be shown up by her brother in his commodore. Beau it'd be great if you could show me how to drift. I was thinking of taking my car drifting and stuff but i know nothing about it and i don't want to damage my car. Also what is the skidpan? How much does it cost to take your car to these places?

Isn't the battery supposed to be in the boot? Thats where mine is anyway... I've never had any problems with my car, i just drive it where ever i'm going lol.

Hey everyone, at the moment the tires i have on my car are rated up to 140km/hr. What would happen if i went faster than 140km/hr? Would this mean my tires won't be able to handle it? Or is it not too significant? Also can someone tell me how to take off quick at the lights? (theres no law on how fast you can accelerate so its not illegal). I'm a P plater and drive a Series 1, non turbo R33 Skyline so people often give me a lot of shit. Expecially those commodore drivers, i just want to be able to take off fast and reach the speed limit before they do. Could someone please tell me how i would do that? (Like what rpm's i'd revv at before taking off, then at what rpm's i should change gears etc). I know barely anything about cars, the reason i got a skyline is because i know they go fast and they look cool. Thats all i know about them, so all help would be appreciated thanks.

That sucks major. If someone stole my car i swear i'd kill them. The license plates would be handy and is the town you live in near or in brisbane?

Every time someone mentions 'black skyline' or 'r33' i get all excited thinking it might be me lol. Theres 1 skyline in my street (apart from mine ofcourse), its grey. Theres another 2 skylines in a street around the corner, 1 is white and i haven't seen the other one but my dad told me theres 2 always parked in that street. So does anyone live in North Lakes Brisbane? Since thats where i live.

No ones had problems installing on a series 1 R33 have they? I just got a new job so i'm hoping i'll be able to buy a lambo door kit in a month or 2.

Saw a white Skyline last night, was heading towards that big roundabout in redcliffe, i went right and he went straight, didn't get to see the plates . It was around 9:00 - 9:30. If it was anyone from this site, i was that guy that you probably thought was trying to race you or something, i was just trying to get ahead of you so you could see my plates though so if you were from here you could say you spotted me coz i wanna be spotted hahah .

Spotted a nice looking Skyline today, don't know what type lol. Pretty sure the plates were 21OOK, might've been an I instead of a 1 or something, it was hard to see, was at night going into North Lakes around... 7pm. Also if the person is on this site, there was no need to turbo past me doing around 90km/hr in a 60 zone.

Hey Terry i just noticed you said you were selling the Lambo Door Kits for the group price, are you still doing that? If you are then whats the difference in prices between a group price and a single price, i wasn't planning on getting a Lambo Door Kit too soon but if theres a decent difference in the price then i might.

Hello Everyone I'll hopefully have a Skyline soon, i have a deposit on an R33, just waiting for it to get checked out. With luck i'll have it by the end of the week. I'm on my Ps so the Skyline i've got the deposit on is pretty much stock. This will be my first car though so i can't wait, when i get it i'll post pics. I live in North Lakes, Brisbane. I can't think of anything else to say so yeah, thats it!

Hey, those doors look sweet. I'm hopefully going to buy an R33 Skyline within a week, i've already got a deposit on it. I just have one question, how much would one of these Lambo door kits cost me in Australian dollars? Also including shipping costs please.
