Hey i just saw this thread then, don't know if anyone still posts on this. Anyway, i have a Series 1, 1995 R33. Would i be able to light up my stock 'Skyline' thing since it'd be the right type, isn't it?

The reason i get so angry is because every single thread i make, i just want a simple question answered and i thank all of those that answered my question. But just because i don't know much doesn't mean i deserve to be insulted, i give what i get, had he of just simply answered the question without the smart ass comments attached to it, then we all would have been happy. Every thread i make someone is either laughing at the question i ask, or laughing at the fact that i drive a non turbo car, "Nissan should never have made a non turbo skyline" "get a real skyline" "put a turbo in your car before you post anything" etc etc. Senior member or not, we are all equal. I don't give two shits about what year someone joined the site on or how many posts they have. I aren't some forum bitch thats just going to cop all the insults. As far as group activities go, i'm already unsure of whether there'd be any point in me going to any of them since i think i'll continue to get a lot of shit about driving a non turbo car. If i could drive turbo then i would, but i can't so i had to pick the next best.

Are you retarded? I'm not lecturing anyone about anything and i'm not loaded, i'm 18 years old. I was just being cautious as to what petrol to put in my car, i thought normal unleaded petrol was fine since 90% of cars use it. I didn't want to WASTE money by paying more than i needed for petrol. But since i now know that normal petrol isn't good for my car, ofcourse i'm not going to use it anymore and i will be using BP Ultimate instead. The closest petrol station to my house is BP which is good. Next time you reply to me, address what i just wrote. I've now written that twice, you'd then realise that i'm not cheap and that i just know nothing about cars so i thought normal petrol was fine.

No need to be a dickhead about it. I spent $13,000 on my car. $8,533 for respray and fixing it after i crashed it. The second i get my car back i'll be spending at least $500 to get window tint and an immobilisor + keyless entry. So do i sound cheap to you? I've filled up my car like 3 times since i got it and put in normal petrol since i didn't know what the difference was. I didn't want to put in any of the ultimate or anything incase it would be bad for my car.

Yeah my car isn't a turbo lol. I'll use BP Ultimate since that seems to be what mose people use.

Hey just wondering what sort of petrol i can use in my car. I've just been using the normal unleaded but since petrol prices are cheap i can put in anything now. I know theres Premium Unleaded and at BP Petrol stations theres another one called "BP Ultimate Unleaded". So yeah can i use any type of them in my car and what would be the best to use? I'm guess the BP Ultimate Unleaded since it has a higher percentage of octane. Also whats the equivalent to BP Ultimate Unleaded at other petrol stations? I'm sure other petrol stations would have a similiar type of petrol to that but under another name. Anyway i know its a rather dumb/boring question but i thought theres no harm in asking anyway. Just making sure i don't put in some petrol thats going to be bad for my car.

I live in North Lakes and we actually were barely effected by the storm at all. Yeah we got lots of rain but our house didn't flood or anything. We kept out power too. The front of North Lakes got a decent amount of hail but not the back (which is where i live).

Is there any places in Brisbane? I looked at that thread of people who got their cars detailed at that place in Melbourne, they look amazing. I'd love to get my car detailed to that standard, but i'm not sure if its really neccessary since my cars getting resprayed so it should look brand new.

Great thanks, and yeah i have a full exhaust. Apparently just having a full exhaust is illegal for me yet i've been pulled up by the cops and they haven't said anything about it (and they did look at the engine etc). I think cops mainly only look for turbo's in P plated car and don't care too much about any other parts.

Thanks, i don't really want to be spending a whole lot on my car since i mainly only want it till i'm on my opens or a year or two after so that i can then buy a turbo, hopefully a R34 GTR. What's an Apexi SAFC tune and how much does that cost? Also i think i see injectors being sold a fair bit on this site, you need like a set of 6 or something don't you? I always look at the parts for sale to try to learn more about what does what. Also what is a DET? Thanks for all that, that doesn't look too expensive which is good. Oh and i have a Series 1 R33. Thanks, whats a CAI? Also how would i change my diff gears and would making them shorter have any negative effects? I've read the sticky regarding performance but didn't really understand everything thats all. To all those saying i sound like a dickhead etc, i've already got good handling. I don't go fast around corners, i don't take my car to the track or anything. The only reason i want more power is just for accelerating basicly in a straight line. I'm not wanting more power so i can get out of corners real quick or anything since yeah that'd be stupid. Going in a straight line doesn't require the best of the best handling.

Hey, i'm on my P plates so i don't want my car decked out with a heap of mods. I just want to know whats the best part to put in my car to make it go faster. I want the best results though, i don't want a part thats not going to do barely anything. I want to be able to notice the improvement in power. My friend had a Celica that at like 4,000 rpm's in 3rd gear it just seemed to boost forward a fair bit and he said it did the same in 5th gear. He said it had to do with the fuel injectors but he knows nothing about cars so 99% chance hes probably wrong. His was non turbo etc so yeah if theres a part that can make that happen then i want it lol. So far i just have an exhaust system. Also please don't spam my thread with "your on your Ps, you aren't allowed modifications" or "your not a skilled enough driver, just get handling mods like braking and suspension". I know a ton of people on the forum that have illegal mods, so by me modding my car its no different to everyone else with their illegal mods. Also i'm not going to be a dickhead in it so i don't need handling etc, i just want a bit more power.

Aah awesome, i've been wondering the same myself but don't have my car at the moment. Once i get it back i'm going to clean my headlights, brand new respray + yellowing lights = not cool lol.

I've got no idea if they are cheaper here. I paid 13k for mine and that was a good price too, the guy could have sold it 3 times in the time that i put down my deposit and the time that i actually bought it. That's not 3 people looking at it either, i think about 8 people looked at it but yeah 3 said they'll buy it for 13k but i already had my deposit on it. I was stoked when i got it, i'd been looking at cars for about 4 months waiting for a good one to pop up. But yeah now its been in the smash repair'ers for around a month, still hasn't got all the parts in. When he does he said its going to be at least 2 weeks to fix it. I REALLY want it before Christmas, i'll have nothing to do on the holidays without a car.

Similiar thing happened to me. I have the exact same car as you too, 1995 R33 Series 1. Only had it for about a month and i'm also a P Plater. It was raining heavy and i accelerated a bit too hard out of a roundabout, slid a bit, over-corrected because i didn't know what to do and my car ending up spinning. Crashed into some trees, my car was pointing in the complete opposite direction to the direction in which i was travelling. You got off easy though, it's costing me $8533.40 to fix mine. But yeah i know exactly how you feel. I felt like crying when it happened since i was just driving home from work at like 11pm at night. Was going real slow, like 25km/hr or 30km/hr around the roundabout, next minute i'm down a ditch which people driving past yelling insults like "Get a real car like a commodore" etc. And everyone staring. I swear if i had a shotgun with me, i would have shot them all, i was so angry. Mines still being fixed, been in there for about a month or so. There waiting on parts to come in from Japan.

I think it depends what sort of tint goes back on it etc. I'm getting darkest legal done on mine at express tinting. They quoted me at like $300 i think. Forgot what sort of film they were putting on it. I know a few others here used express tinting since i asked around before i decided to go with them. I haven't got mine done yet though.

Yeah i'll get a letter if i can. Then it won't be my fault hahah, i can then blame another police officer. And if someone tells me they are just plain illegal, i'll try to find a cop that says they are legal when stationary.
