Hes not wanting to drive anyone elses car, he just wants to drive his car. From what i can gather, he didn't get his license before july 2007. Hes allowed to drive turbo in NSW and therefore bought a turbo, but hes not allowed to drive a turbo in Queensland since he got his license after July 2007. Just thought i'd try to clear that up for most people posting on this thread, i understand what hes trying to do.

Saw a Silver/Grey R34 with no spoiler out the front of the North Lakes gym around 3:10pm. Then i'm pretty sure i saw it again going down Anzac avenue around 10pm.

Awww your lucky . Yeah you don't need to display P plates or anything since you got your license before then. I feel like a loser driving an N/a that i'm not allowed to modify and displaying lame P plates.

Did that R33 have the plates of "Jethead" or something like that? If so, that guy lives just around the corner from me. Don't you both drive turbo cars? How can you be P platers and still drive turbo's? I have a P plate on my front windscreen but nothing on the back, i've been pulled over by the cops and none of them mention it because they just see the one on the front and assume there was one on the back as well lol.

Don't get too worried dude, they are just trying to scare you. They can't confiscate your car for doing a small burnout. Also when they do confiscate your car, first its for 1 month, then 3 months and then its forever. So it's not like you'll lose it forever straight away, you need to be caught several times before it will happen.

I don't think your going to have much luck trying to change the P plate power restriction rules. Especially since they are new, they will wait till they get a decent amount of statistics and everything first so that they can see whether their new rules are helping or not. By the time they do all that, you'll be on your open license anyway.

'Knocking' was a misunderstanding over the proper terminology which is now being used by people as though it was the original term.

I was thinking of just giving it to one of my other friends because i know that'd piss him off lol. But yeah i thought all the tickets would have all been sold out by now? I don't know if they have, just thought they would have been.

I think they might have been replaced since they are blue, not sure if thats stock colour or not though. Also i checked the group buy section, i couldn't find the thread you were refferring to. I know which one it is though, i've seen it when i was looking through there a week ago. Do you know anywhere that i could just buy the right LED's for it?

Hey, I bought two soundwave tickets because my friend said he'd pay me for it but hasn't yet and is now saying hes not sure he wants to go anymore. I told him he has until February to decide. But i thought i'd see if anyone is interested in it? I don't plan on selling it till February which is why this post isn't in the "for sale" section since its not for sale just yet. I'm wanting the price i paid for it which was $120 i think, i'll check next time i look at the ticket. So is anyone interested in buying it if i do end up selling it?

Hey, Just recently, the lights on my centre console have started flickering and going on and off. They are just the lights that turn on with my headlights, the lights that are on the whole time are fine. Also its only one side, like 4 buttons, mainly my air con buttons that are flickering since they are the ones on the right hand side. I was wondering, do all 4 of these maybe just have 1 big light behind it that is broken or something? How would i fix this problem? Thanks.

Looks perfect to me, could you bring that to my wedding as well? I have an R33 Series 1 GTS that has just been fully resprayed Metallic Black about a month ago. So it looks really clean, i know you only want white cars but just thought i'd mention my car incase you change your mind. Oh and my picture under my name is before it was resprayed, so yeah, looks a lot nicer now lol.

You don't need to be constantly looking at your speedo to know whether or not you are doing the speed limit. If your driving significantly faster than everyone else then clearly your speeding. You SHOULD notice if your car is going faster in than the speed limit anyway since doing 10km/hr over is rather significant enough to realise your car feels faster than usual. The only time i don't do the speed limit is when i'm over taking. If i'm on the highway and theres some retard doing 80km/hr the whole time and theres currently a gap that'll require me going up to 120km/hr or so to get in front of him then i'll do that. So it'd suck if i got caught when over-taking but i guess thats just life.

I try to park next to new or expensive cars lol. Or cars that have clearly been properly looked after since i believe those sort of people respect cars more and won't smash their doors into mine.

Not really, basicly costs the same to respray your car with or without the new body kit.

Hmm i might go with the MDF Board for now and maybe upgrade to something fancier like MintR33's later. Where do i buy an MDF Board from? Also thanks for everyones help.

Hey, I noticed a decent amount of people here say they have an amp in the boot right next to the battery. I just looked at mine then since i have an amp and i realised that theres wires next to the battery and the metal bit isn't exact straight either, it slopes down. So i'm assuming those that put the amp in their boot next to the battery added something to go over the top of the wires for the amp to sit on. Could anyone tell me how they put their amp next to the battery and provide pictures if possible? Thanks.

It's an amp for my speakers. I just bought some big kit which has all the cables that i need (or thats what it says anyway) but yeah i don't know what each cable is for.

Hey, Does anyone know anywhere or anyone that could install an amp sometime between now and monday? And how much it'd cost? I just bought it today and i'm really impatient. I really want it installed before Australia day which is why i want it done before then. I would install it myself but... i don't know anything at all about it, i'm not even so sure i can mount it next to my battery anymore. I thought i'd have plenty of room but after looking in there, i'm not so sure. I was originally going to install it myself but after looking at it i realised its not so easy for someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tyson

Hahah thats awesome. He changed down two gears though? He must've been in a real hurry to get somewhere. Anyway, does anyone here own the black R32 with a big "Unit" sticker on the back window? I see it around a lot, i'm assuming the owner lives in North Lakes. Yesterday i saw a white R33 in kallangur, had bikes on the back of it. Thats pretty much all the details i need to put since theres not a whole lot of skylines driving around with bikes on them .

Well if you find that rear bumper, post a picture. I'm thinking of getting a rear bumper for my car but haven't seen any that i like yet lol.

Spotted a Black R32 (i think it was an R32) driving through kallangur around 3:20. I forgot what that main road is down there. The person had just normal license plates but i can't remember what they were.

You know that big squarish metal thing? lol. The one you have to mount somewhere in your car? Has like all the cables connecting to it. Well on the back of that it had blue plastic stuff. A bit like when you get a new phone, or a new ipod and it has that plastic stuff over the screen. It's a bit like that except this is blue. I left it there but now i'm starting to wonder if its going to just melt when my engine gets hot.
