there's no real logic behind what some people do. maybe they realised the car would be hard to grab, so they just did what damage they could and ran off. either way, it's never rsomething good to wake up to.

Questions On Repairing Some Aesthetic Aspects Of My Car
d-- replied to d--'s topic in South Australia
ok so, the window is a tad more damaged than i initially thought (everything inside the door regarding the window basically needs replacing) can anyone recommend a decent place to get this done? other things aren't that big an issue, just need my windows fixed >< -
sorry, too early on a monday morning to consider that.

that's really bad mate. Hate to be stereotypical, but aboriginals who drive WRX's and R33's usually wouldn't be the type to attempt to steal another car. do you have a suburb this was done in? feel for ya man :S

I had a similar thing not too long ago, i caught a train into town with a bunch of mates on a friday night so i could drink, and on the way back the next day there was a guy who got on around the half way point and started yelling and carrying on (really loudly and aggressively) to his mates (oddly enough, he was yelling at them about why he had no friends whilst slapping them upside the head) and there was a mentally handicapped guy on the train, and was looking at the guy (i don't blame him, we were all doing it but just being subtle) Anyway, the guy starts yelling at this poor guy, and when i stood up to defend him he started threatening to murder me because he was bi-polar schizophrenic which somehow justified it, i just asked the poor handicapped guy to come sit behind me and my mates because this angry guy had just thrown his sunglasses at the handicapped guys face. It astounds me as to how these people can justify it, abusing a disabled person is horrible

i was driving my dads car towing my mates car along lonsdale highway onto brighton road, and just as we got to seaview road (we were going quite slow for obvious reasons) the lights were red and a guy that was in a vn that was tailing us jumped out of his car with a club lock and sprinted towards my mates car screaming and carrying on, wasn't all that concerned with the rules at that time and ran the red light (it was 3am and dead) but didn't want my mate (or myself) to cop the full force of an angry bogan annoyed he couldn't speed. turned right at sturt road when he started following and just headed for the police station, he peeled off at diagonal road when he realised what was going to happen. never a pleasant thing to have to drive to the police station because someone can't hold their temper

I Live in a quiet part of Port Noarlunga (Down near the bottom of Old Honeypot Road) and was driving home when some guy in a 180sx that was beaten up quite a bit was sitting in the entrance to my street across the entrance taking up as much room as possible smoking the wheels up. Figured that i'd just leave him to it so i could just get home, and he decided that i was being impatient (or something to that effect, don't ask me what triggers these types of behaviour) and swung out just missing my front end. Flipped me the bird and yelled something i didn't quite catch. I've seen quite a few worse things (general bad driving by typical VN drivers) and the like, but seeing this guy just made it click why cops love targeting import drivers.

an "Esky type thing" ? you mean you have a drinks cooler built in to your boot? pretty sure thats NOT stock
-
haha, i clicked on it, and for some reason it stuck out at me more than the steering wheel.
-
you listen to 102.3? nah it looks very nice mate, mines starting to get a bit of wear and tear so i'd be keen to do it
-
would be very interested in this, just bought an r33 and the interior could be a little better.

right on the money spend all the money in the world on changing speed signs, and you'll get marginal benefits on average spend all the money in the world on more in depth training for drivers (scoring an 80% on your log book test you can do entirely at your leisure surely can't be all that satisfiying.)

As the topic suggests, i'm looking for some stock springs for my R33(fronts), sits a tad too low atm. pm me or my mobile is 0405502848
-
man i really feel for you with that, probably the worst possible outcome that could have happened
-
that the unit itself is working, but that the device you were trying to use could be the source of the short.

hey guys i'm currently getting lists of parts i need to get for my car audio kit which will consist of a car computer with a double din touchscreen LCD, sound outputs from the computer going to the amp powering the speakers from there but im currently at the stage of wondering what to get for the following Speakers (fronts and rears) Amps (need a mono amp and a 4ch amp as i cant bridge the outputs on the computer) sub (was thinking 12") will more than likely be mounting an amp under each seat with the computer in the boot with the sub and wiring it out from those points (front/rear to 4ch and sub to the mono amp) and wiring out to the speakers from the 4ch amp and back to the boot from the mono amp for the sub i have $700-$800 to spend on speakers/amps/subs and i was looking at something around the level of alpine type-s gear to start with, but wondering if anyone had models of each piece of equipment they could recommend to me (or if there is a 5.1 amp of sorts that would be a cheaper alternative) would i need to spend more for what i'm after in terms of gear? or re-evaluate the gear i need.

thing to remember about car alarms, is that if you have your car comp insured, then get it installed by an actual technician, as it will lower your insurance costs for having it. also, what model viper alarm do you have KezR33 ? looking at getting one myself and sounds like all the features i'm after.

Hey all, My R33 has recently come across a problem that the fuel gauge isn't actually showing how much fuel is remaining in the tank. A friend says this is a common problem, but couldn't give me any more detail than that. Can anyone give me some insight as to whether the common problem is an issue in the sender unit or the gauge cluster unit itself? or if it's the floaty bubble in the tank itself. Was told by a mate it was probably the dash cluster unit because the needle is just drooping, but wondering if anyone else might have an insight into what it could be.
-
good luck man, if you weren't speeding then i doubt it'll be a problem for you.

wow, got in too late for this one need to find stock springs for my car, sits too low

hi all, i know this isn't directly the place to post this, but being a problem im looking to have repaired, somewhere in say, melbourne wouldn't be my best choice. I recently purchased an R33 knowing it had some work required to be done to it, but however, i couldn't do it myself so im wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a place that could help me out. My problems are the following Power windows wont operate (passenger side works sometimes) i believe that problem to be in the relay itself, but the drivers side i believe to be burnt out (the auto on button locks down, so i believe the previous owner just gave up on that) wouldn't be such a problem if they weren't down second problem is that the central locking doesn't work on the drivers side, so i hit the central locking and it opens passenger side, but not drivers side. (this is right from the panel on the door itself, or by manually locking/unlocking) could be a problem with the actuators in the drivers panel.
