as opposed to...the damage from getting hit by a car? haha
-
oh, sorry let me re-phrase it smashed through my aftermarket bumper, and i was going to mount a stock one but just cut around the guards at the bottom that would hit my intercooler so it fits. it's defectable, but im pretty sure no front bumper is just as defectable

So last night i was driving along south road near the very end of the expressway (near old noarlunga) and a Koala decided to take his chances crossing the road while i was driving along, couldn't avoid it because there was quite a few cars around me at the time and he completely trashed my front bumper, he also didn't come out of it so well. anyway, long story short, i have a stock front bumper that i need to grind around my intercooler and mount it, but i a) don't own an angle grinder and b) lack the confidence to fit it myself (call me lame ) anyway, long story short, would anyone be interested in doing some work for beers or something else we could agree on to give me a hand grinding the bumper back and mounting it? would be greatly appreciated as i cringe every time i look at my car atm Live in the Southern Areas for reference

i would help, but i'm not all that knowledgeable on my way around an engine bay, i can point at things and usually give a name but that's about it. however if you need manpower i can help you, may ask for the same in return refitting a stock front bumper though

haha, i had it happen the other day, a wine truck dropped its load on Lonsdale Highway at the lights before the 100 zone heading north, and i was coming from shephards road, anyway the cops were directing traffic and i gave it gas, the clutch was down, the exhaust was giving the cops a show and dance but there wasn't enough gas to get much movement, i was thinking "f**kf**kf**kf**k"
-
yeah i hate that. when i'm at the lights and have pole position, start driving and f**k all happens, haha.
-
haha, might try it tonight

a good place to go for a drive thats not too far out is head up to blackwood and then just follow main road out down past belair through windy point, drive as hard as you feel safe with and just go for a nice downhill drive, windy roads but still a great drive. (it's where i'll be tonight )

if i find the time to fit my stock front bumper between now and then i'll come definitely keen though

i was going out earlier and some vl commodore kept on coming alongside me and revving his engine, took a quick glance aside and saw the passenger had a missing tooth at the front. came to the lights and they were trash talking etc like all stereotypical commodore drivers do. Shame my car has some exterior work that needs done, else my car would have looked the part far more than it does . on that note, i don't suppose anyone could give some hints for the following. Front suspension is sagging, needs to be swapped out, does anyone know of a decent price for some decent front suspension (i recently bought springs off another member here, made no difference so it's more than likely the suspension. and as a direct result of the suspension, my front bumper has taken some damage. does anyone know a place that would be able to repair it and respray it? also needs a better fit as the previous owner tended to do jobs in halves also a set of fairly plain 17"/18" rims +tyres? i've heard tyrepower blackwood are pretty good, anyone else have any suggestions? (i live south of town)

Recently my right indicator had been clicking faster, i knew this was because a globe was out just hadn't had the time to fix it. But now my indicators just stopped working all together, i've pulled out the cables to the indicator panels that were at the front (the right one was the broken one) Hazards work, but not indicators, does anyone have any ideas that could be the problem/resolve this?

What Is Going On In Adelaide, With No Respect For Your Car ?
d-- replied to Carbon 34's topic in South Australia
my mate did pizza delivery for a bit at aberfoyle when we were in school, he walked up to the customers house to deliver the pizza and in that time someone opened his car door and stole his mobile while he was gone for all of 2 minutes -

Yeah, not such a fan of Seaford in recent years. I grew up/Played soccer there and these days i think i'd rather catch a bus there to play soccer than to chance leaving my car parked in the area, unattended for any more than an hour at a time. Have a mate who lives in the area, owns an ex-pursuit cop car (VS), it's nothing special, but when you hear scuffling outside your house at 3am and a bunch of kids have your car in neutral pushing it down the street it makes you question why you want to own a car at all.
