The quote of $500 seems rather pricey. However, it is good practice to replace both cylinders even if only 1 is faulty. I'd ask around and get more quotes.

Shocks and springs + bump stops and dust covers you'll be looking at around the $1450 mark. Of cos this does not include the sway bars, camber correction kit.
