  1. Wow, good shiz! How good is your friend finding the CigWeld mig for welding body panels? I'm assuming you are using it with gas? They are quite good value units, I am curious to see how good they are!
  2. 040 seems to be fine in my application (stock). Not very noisy and it was relatively easy to fit, apart from it being considerably fatter than the stock pump. I went for the Bosch because I thought it would be a better quality unit than the Walbro. It hasn't failed yet so I'm not worried. What did worry me was that despite the extra $$ spent on the Bosch, it didn't come with the nuts for the wiring posts AND it was made in the Czech Republic, not Germany. Ah well, that's how it goes isn't it!
  3. Do you have the stock BOV? How much posted to Sydney? Cheers
  4. Hi guys, Up for sale is a set of 4 genuine BBS 15" x 7" wheels They are 5x114.3 with a nice RWD offset (+38) REALLY sexy rims, it is a shame we have to sell them. They have some nice dish and trademark BBS mesh centre. They are super light weight and are typical uber German quality. The only thing is they could do with a bit of a clean up and there are a few small gutter marks (see pics). Selling them on behalf of my mate, the only reason we are selling them is because they wont fit the project car as we had intended :-( Asking $600 Wheels are located in Hornsby, Sydney. Pickup is preferred. Any Q's please PM me. Cheers Chris PHOTOS:

  10. Hey astro, r32 actuators are the shit. Im going for the same setup as you are, I'm running a turn-flow cooler, stock airbox, etc etc After f**ing around for years with MBC's, the r32 actuator is a dream, chuck it in, 10psi all day long, no spike no bullshit. Happy days.
  11. Ill give ya cash for it if it works- then you can buy an intake pipe :-)
  12. Hey mate, is that with a pair or a set of GTT rims?
  13. Hi all, Just did this mod to my s2 r33 GTS-t. I pulled everything out to get better access and clean everything up, it was much easier with the crossover pipe, airbox and the cooler piping out of the way. Before doing this I was having difficulties with the car getting to 10psi. I have an r32 actuator in, but I could only ever get ~9psi showing on my gauge. So after doing this, I get 10psi all day long. Coincidence, possibly. Fixed something inadvertently, possibly. But for $5 you can't go wrong, do it. My only concern is that the 'give' provided by the concertina hose section has now been lost. I feel there is a possibility that engine movement could cause the pipe to loosen off.. but I am happy to wait and see.
  14. The bloke has an RB26 powered s13, he took it to the strip (which was not perfectly prepared, granted) and he started to get fairly untidy around mid-track. Rather than back off for his own safety and that of the S2000 driver in the left-hand lane, he ploughed on and end up swerving badly into the other lane (possibly clipped the s2000) and caused the S2000 driver to hit the wall = epic fail. A perfect example of plenty of cash, plenty of power but no friggin brains. Put the car away until you grow up mate- Mum and Dad shouldn't have anything to do with this.
  15. New offer: Buy the lot for $400 and I'll throw in: - RCA leads - Power Cable - Fuse holder - BRAND NEW & UNUSED Battery Link 150 Watt 12v to 240v Power Inverter RRP $79.95 (suit Playstation etc) Red hot deal people.
  16. Hey mate, is it the early type with the adjustment screw?
  17. Talk to me people. Ill throw in 3 pairs of GOOD QUALITY RCA leads if you buy the lot... C'maaaan. You can doo eeet.
  18. $100 plus postage to Sydney?
  19. To avoid cutting ANYTHING, you will probably have to stick with a stock/R34 side mount. That said, the return-flow intercooler kits do cut down ALOT on the 'in your face' modifications (and obvious pipework) that accompany the fitment of a standard intercooler kit. It may be possible to fit one of the return-flow kits without trimming the reo but it would probably require you to move/remove the air con condenser fan and set the cooler back almost flush with the radiator.
  20. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think even the Blitz kits require some reo bar trimming?
  21. Just Jap make a 'stealth' kit for r33/r34 skylines. Ive got one on my R33 Gts-t and it did not require me to cut any holes. The fitment is really not that great on an r33, and the lower return pipe sits perilously low on my series 2 and the piping/bracketry is a bit of a prick to line up. That said, if you are handy with the tools it is a MUCH cheaper option than the Blitz/ ARC units and I'll say (amidst a barrage of flame), for most applications will do the job just as well.
  22. Hi all, just an update; New plugs (BCPR6ES) Siliconed Std coil packs Bosch 040 in-tank Seems to be running well so far; no misfire with a 10psi actuator fitted. Time will tell. Thanks for all the advice guys! Chris
