G'day all, Well I ran into a bit of a dilemma over since putting on my HKS Super Dragger exhaust, as I am worried of getting excessive abuse from the cops here in Vic. Its in perfect nick, nice and shiny barrel from the cat back. Oh yeah, its currently on a R33 GTST. Hope that helps. Thanks.

G'day guys, I just had my HKS Super Dragger exhaust from the cat back installed today. And while I'm stoked on the how it sounds etc, I am extremely conscious of the fact that it's going to land me into trouble. Where to start, I guess firstly yeah, I came from a stock exhaust so anything aftermarket is going to be shock to the system. Is it too loud?? Well, it would probably pass EPA as this is one of the "quieter" exhausts on the market, but it does have a droney taste to it, especially around the 2000rpm mark. However, what I am more conscious of, is the fact that my car is also lowered. Lowered, making the exhaust around the centre of the car, go below the 100mm ride height limit. Combined by the fact that it has a massive 5 inch "cop bait" tip, I know its going to draw unwanted attention, which will invariably lead to a defect notice..... *sigh* So what should I do, keep it, and enjoy the noise, power etc, or revert back to stock, and remain hassle free from the cops (if that is at all possible) Oh yeah, does anyone want a HKS exhaust........ barely used!! What would you guys do???

G'day All, I have to agree with Funky and rigga here.... I also got my R33 through these guys, and the service has been awesome. I'm stereo install was also done by Gareth, sub box and all, and as we all know, that's not exactly the easiest task in a R33. What else can I say, well, I had my car broken into stereo stolen, dash and window smashed etc.... pretty messy, but yeah, Jspec helped me sought out new one. Oh yeah, my suspension........... bought 2 sets, just to try out...... Gareth the poor bas#$d helped me fit both free of charge, when the first set of Tein's he put in, weren't to my liking. And finally, got myself a new set of wheels and an exhaust on its way through these guys. While importing itself is much of a muchness....... the ongoing service these guys provide is second to none.......Nothing but praise for these boys. Good luck! Come to think of it, my car would be so phcuked if I didn't have them as a contact.

Hey Guys, Need your advice. I'm sure that this has been raised before, but I have a problem, on where I can park my precious skyline, when I need to catch the train for work each day. Take today for instance, I returned after a phucked up day to work, only to see my car badged. (Front S on the grill of a Series 1 R33) While I can be greatful nothing worse was done, what options are there for guys like us. I've tried driving all the way, car was broken in, train stations are proving no better. What are we to do? PS. If anybody knows on where I can obtain another front badge, can you please advise. Hate the idea, my car has been tampered with. Cheers!

G'day All Firstly apologies, for posting another one of these up. I've done a search, and have tried to comprehend how it all works, but as with most people here, offset has always been some what of an enigma. Anyway, to my question. I own a R33 GTSt, currently with standard wheels. I'm getting a set of 18 inches 5x114PCD. The fronts are 18x8, the rears, 18x9. I think thats the correct terminology. As for the offset, all 4 wheels are +40. They were made for a Supra I think. So the question, will they fit ok??? I do hope so, as the wheels I'm getting are awesome! Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but this looks interesting. Can I ask, how hard would it be to relocate the overdrive button. I mean, Momo even now make an auto shift, minus the overdrive. Is there anyway which we could seperate the two, and have have the bottom elsewhere, like where the coin holder is etc??? Thoughts?

Hey, Not too sure if I'm really qualified to give my opinion, but I have been shopping for a bleed valve myself. Anyway, I guess firstly may I say, the Search button is your friend. I recall reading a detailed post a little which back which did a comparison between the turbo smart and GFB variations. And as these people here can attest, turbo smart was prone to spiking. A friend of mine has a GFB and swears by it. Runs at 10psi, and even on cold nights, he claims it doesn't spike at all. So all I say is, I'll eventually get a GFB, but again, see if you can dig up that old post.

Hey bud, Mine is completely stock and untouched....... nothing has been cut, and was recently painted. All indicator fittings are still there too. Are yours? I guess the best thing to do is catch up. No idea where hampton park is, but lets catch up this weekend.... That way we can work out how hard it'll be to swap them over. Thanks.

Cheers Merli! Thanks, I thought people would have jumped at the chance to get a set of GTR rims at $1300, albeit needing new tyres, hence the reason I wanted just to get it out of the way. So many emails, PM's and calls, just no body fronting up to see me. *sigh* I know this is not a chat forum, so apologies, dAVE, you can delete this reply, but Merli, should I keep them. I only own a R33 GTST, which is lowered. Considering the offset is wrong, and being lowered, there is some tyre scrapage on the inner front plastic guard thingi at full turn. It does look cool, though, so should I get some new tyres and keep them, or revert back to the stockies.... Apologies again for diverting........... the wheels are still for sale!
