  1. sold my skyline to get back in a rotor *puts flame suit one* i missed my capella 13b monster bridge and 3rd gear donuts too much, i am not biased i love all forms of cars, i had great times in my skyline but the way the power is delivered in a rotor is a great feeling
  2. mine hasnt been on the dyno got no interest and everytime sumone tries to race i get it into the sweet spot and go from there...im not saying i can go and beat every single turbo skyline...i was still in second while the 32 was changing into third and all he had done was front mount and cat back...
  3. ive thought about it but its not really worth it unless you dont want to part with your car its easier to buy one thats factory turbo and go from there
  4. mines got no engine work bu cat back and a panel filter and it beats 32 and 33 gtst's??
  5. bumpo, need a ute or offers asap moving before the month is out. doesnt come with rwc new rego about 5 weeks old but will pass rwc fine
  6. mine doesnt open up and run good unless im at 5800 theres nothing below that, 7k in second speedo's sitting on 115 :S
  7. ok i know this has been covered about a million times but i got tanabe sustec pro coilovers in mine 8kg front 6kg rear spring rates and when ever i go overr a bump coilovers knock like up in my strut tops am i up for new coilovers becauase that was last on the list to do.. and the car is mainly jsut a street/thrasher (there are no tracks where i am apart from a drag strip not my forte) and a rough ride doesnt bother me at all and i was jsut wondering too with other suspension parts plans are castor rods pineapple bushes possibly new coilovers swaybars strut braces front and rear hicas lock bar would rear camber arms or anything else be neccessary? and i know some of you will be thinking why bother with an n/a but i have a det motor sitting in the shed with a few bolt on goodies which will make its way into the car, along with a 5 stud brake conversion any help cheers
  8. yeah took it for a drive today, jsut feels a bit weird if it doesnt sell ill order some d project castor rod bushes...
  9. f**k off cockhead waste of f**king life
  10. yeah anything turbo really is considered would be keen for a swap but i dont want an auto
  11. moving people and its not practical for where im moving to pm an offer
  12. just do what i did i live in central qld and i got it transported cost about 1500 from melbourne...mines for sale btw
  13. never thought you were ever going to sell this ferris?
  14. selling due to where i live is a training ground and i cant even drive my car to the shops without getting pulled up i love this car was going to fix everything on it but ive bought a new ute so i am open to swaps even for a turbo car i travel alot for work so it wont bother me if i have to get a work exemption permit. car: 1993 (i think) r33 skyline s1 gts (non turbo) has 143xxx on the clock purchased the car with 128xxx motor: stock apart from a bmc air filter and a canon always run bosch ultra spark spark plugs which are changed every 10 000 oil is always changed every 4000 and filter. driveline: as i beleive it has a rb25det gearbox and an upgraded clutch i dont know what clutch as i bought the car with the clutch and it has a viscous lsd in it. interior and cosmetics: has 3 drift gauges water temp volts and air/fuel and a mini gizzmo shift light which are all wired up and running interior is largley stock apart from them will throw in an aftermarket wheel when car is bought, has a kenwood stereo clarion speakers in the front doors kenwood in the rear parcel shelf 12inch kenwood sub and a rampage amp, jsut recently i have installed a 8000k hid kit with led parkers. rear tail lights are spray tinted but are still visible and have never been asked about them suspension: tanabe sustec pro coilovers with hks castor tops in the front spring rates are 8 front and 6 rear firm ride. bad points needs a respray has humidity blisters on roof and drivers side rear quarter new front guard as it has a dint which has been bashed out. needs new castor rods. some very mechanical minded idiot put brake fluid in the power steering doesnt hurt it jsut steerings heavy needs a wheel allignment window rubbers need bailey channel put in. doesnt like to start bone cold but never stalls this car has never let me down since i have owned it i did want to build it up but there is no point in doing it all and making it turbo becassue i feel it is eassier to buy a turbo car price: ballpark figure of around 6-7k i bought the car for 5 completly stock and with no stereo or anything my loss your gain no stupid figures from know it all cause you will be told get f@#ked if you ring and say 3 grand i am very open to swaps with cash adjustment either way ill post up pics, ill take some interior pics and the front guard and all the bad paint spots tomorrow reason why i am being so honest is you dont want to think you are buying a brand new car i mean these cars are not new anymore so dont winge about the condition if you think im over priced or anything, the car is under a car cover 99% of the time cheers
  15. yoiu getting rid of stereo if so i will have stereo brackets?
  16. or how about jsut instead of getting them with glass get projectors put in if your gonna start doing all tht work they need aftermarket projector kits for them oh and glass my 2c
  17. if this is a white n/a supra your talking about and by coincedence its the same supra im thinkn of tht has a turbo timer one of my mates yes it gets driven very very very hard i have got no clue how it is still running
  18. yeah it does seem like alot of hassle jsut to have something thts not as common doesnt it, building it and doing all the work is no problem apart from machining of the block, jsut dont want to pour a whole lot of cash into it and regret it later which i most probably will...although it will be a whole different car, really i know this will sound stupid but something tht will atleast spin in second not first and then die, and thts not going easy on it thts sitting it off limiter and dumping it. i know that i could buy something like a commodore and make more power but a commodore jsut does not offer the same handling as a skyline does, and the only other car i will buy next if i dont do this will be crossing back to my roots a rotary
  19. well soon i will be having a few months stint with footpower, and so the skyline is getting a bit of a make over i have interior organised panel and paint and suspension and wheels, been reading up tonight and i have been in formed not to turbo mine (dont ask) as i will lose my lisence and car as soon as its all done and i get back on the road, so was jsut wondering would it be worth building a high comp rb30 motor with the 25 head mated to it, acl pistons and rods bored decked head cams hypertune manifold and so on, is it really worth the hassle and is there gains to be had if built right? car is staying the same colour putting work meshies on it stripping out reear seat bolt in cage seems rediculous yes indeed but horses for courses, and what can be done about my diff gears? they are way too tall for an n/a motor, think that the 200kw mark can be made achievable, i know this question is asked alot and my apologies for this but anyones input would be good? cheers luke.
  20. well back from working my ass off and working locally then going to hayman island took the car for a putt and i jsut cant sell her it will be too hard so been pricing up the n/a motor and would a stock computer run a t3/t4 turbo running say 8 pound? ill worry about a conversion when it pops
  21. yes will be sad very sad but theres no point in going for more power need brakes and everything so not worth the hassle and extra money in the end
  22. cars getting sold not worth it anymore bit over the n/a at this point in time lol
  23. nah its not worth it anymore selling the car open to offers going to cairns for a 5500sqm job soon so
