Actually a non turbo skyline wouldnt be too bad for a p plater... good thoughts i totally forgot i had a non turbo 33 and it was fine still kicked a little arse well deff of the lancers etc that wanted to drag lol.... yea he is trying to stay away from turbo onc the insurnce company hears turbo they flip out...

hey guys just got a quick one here my friend is looking at getting a lancer for his first car as he does not wanna spend alot, on the car and on the insurance. He asked me to ask u guys what you would think if he modded the looks here are some things he wants to do: Evo Body Kit, VI or IV most likely Mags Full exhaust system Lowered Change racing steering wheel and gearknob Neons I know this is a skyline club guys but yea please leave you honest opinions. he is really keen to find out wat car enthusiasts would think. hey guys n gals. just wondering if you could suggest a good head unit that will play mp3, wma and ipod connection for approx 500 incl install... i know alpine do a good range of what i am talking about but i was wondering if there is anything else out there... even one whre the head unit lights can turn of wen not neded as my car is turning into a disco as it is...

Focal make a good subwoofer they are more into sound qual then bass depth so thy have all the frequecies without makin it feel like ure sittin on a vibrator. the best is to go in and have a listen see what you like fow yourself, also it will b hard to fit a sub under a seat due to the depth of a sub the further away the sub is from ureslf the better quality =]

true i guess it will also get the holden bogans up my alley with a abase ball bat as they say and i dont want to many people to see my arse even though i must say it is quite nice ahaha... but yea i think i might just stick to car audio as i love my music and just use the extra dough to help out that cause... on that topic does any1 know if the r34 has any good places for splits etc?

well i just imported my car through www.imports101.com.au and i have to say i was really pleased with the service. they kept me up to date throughout the whole process they seemed to really be on the ball. basically the steps to get it imported are: 1. pay for them to start looking in japan for you 2. they message u daily tellin you about cars that match ure search preferences. 3. chose a car what you like the sound of tell them to bid for you 4. if you win the car they send you detailed pictures etc 5. pay for the car so they can take it away and ready it for shipping (do this wen we have a good exchange rate can make all the diff) 6. wait for the car to be shipped to aust then pay for the shipping costs 7. pay for compliance 8. pick up plates and pay for a years rego 9. drive car home and enjoy it Woah a japanese import to ure door in less then 10 steps i am pretty impressed. like i said i really liked dealing with these guys friendly and professional (ahaha knowing th ehead mechanic helps too) tehend
