That's not what happened with me. They didn't care at all about an alarm, they wanted and I mean mandatory a black wired 2 point (at least) immobiliser. So I had to have removed an alarm/immobilisor I had put in the car a week earlier that did not comply and have another installed that did comply. Threw $380 down the toilet because I didn't do my homework in regards to Aus standards and what just car insurance required

I think it's for fertiliser, rusting iron and all is good for the soil innit!

I changed my oil monday for the first time and used Motul 8100 5-40 and (I don't know what oil was in there before) it definitely revs easier and overall the engine feels more smooth. I know there have been discussions about how much the autobahn guys know......., but when I picked up the 8100 the guy in autobahn started going on about how he'd been to some training recently about oils and was taught that RP shouldn't go into anything with alloy block or head because it (RP that is) apparently has something in it that is corrosive. Now I didn't care too much because I was in a hurry and I'd already decided that my motor was going to get Motul!

When I listen to Leon on the radio in the shed and they talk about hoons and high powered cars they're always talking about imports. Its on the news too mate! When I see a car pulled over with the hood up and it's not often..... 99.9% of the time it's an import. I'm not saying they don't touch commodores, but I think you get what I'm on about. Correct me if I'm wrong and you know that commodore dickheads get the same treatment import drivers get, because if they get the same treatment I'll gladly put my hand up and admit I'm wrong

So it's basically what I was getting at with these uneducated police. That's fair enough, I can understand that. Lets hope that something does come from all this and that police are going to be better educated when dealing with imports. It's still a shame that they don't target commondore drivers in the same manner.....
