The reason I ask is, in the time I did 10,000 Kms I didn't need to top up the oil level at all. When I drained it, it was of course dirty coloured but certainly didn't look contaminated (ODO now reads 119K and I've never had it past 5.5-6K RPM).
A few people I spoke to suggested using Motul 8100 or 300V and changing at 10,000 simply because the oil is of a much higher specification than that used in 1995 when the engine fired up for the first time in the Nissan plant. I don't really know, this is my first turbo car!
