  1. Awesome lightning display last night and some window shaking sounds.... Love it
  2. Not me. I've been told there's another black 33 getting around with bronze lmgt4's
  3. I guess it depends on which part of the world you're in...
  4. ^ Pretty much agree. Trulli is at times incredibly fast just not often enough, but I do think this has a lot more to do with the machinery than the driver.
  5. I've driven a BF XR6 turbo and GT also as a passenger in a F6 Typhoon, many many Holden's ranging from CV8 Monaro's to VX/Y/Z/E Calais' SS's SSV's and even a VE HSV SVO8 Senator and I can categorically say they're all very much faster than my stock manual R33 GTSt Maybe there's something wrong with my engine...?
  6. +1 to suss. Neutral + brakes and then down gears regardless of transmission type. The other thing that doesn't make sense to me is why the ignition could not be turned off. Anyone have any ideas why the ignition off wouldn't work?
  7. But as a whole (all the genuine parts combined), is it a counterfeit car?
  8. Still available and cheap!
  9. WOW, that's awesome
  10. Spotted a tough black R33 with GTR wing and gold wheels on the Port River Expressway at around 2.30
  11. Yes there is that too
  12. Up ya arse! These drift/duck wings are also sold on ebay
  13. At that cost it'd wanna be 18 carat gold fkn plated and come with more than a few blowies
  14. Then there's the F6 Typhoon's that go like FARK! As Stinky pointed out the SS (they also have traction control) will destroy stock nissan 6 cyl turbos... no contest
  15. Hammer n chisel
  16. Hahaha I remember the shit hole when it was Synagog and then later Church, tried to stay away in those days! It's hot today, you won't find a carpark anyway
  17. I getcha now. Nero burning ROM will normalise levels between tracks when burning audio CD's but I'm not sure if that will work if it's a 1 hour .wav file. The only other thing I can think of is using a compressor/limiter with the peak level (allowed to pass through) set at the lowest gain of the material going through it if that makes any sense. Problem with that method is, you'll need to either guess what the low gain is or go right through the material to find it, maybe set the limiter with an output level or peak at 0 db and pass the material through it. Can't guarantee that's going to work either because I've generally only used that method on say a bass guitar track that might be perfect with a few level problems in it because someone got heavy handed whilst recording
  18. Try Izotope Ozone or one of the many plugsins in the Waves Mercury bundle, not so much for the exciters/expanders but the EQ. Using a filter for noise removal might destroy some of the top end though, so it might be worth trying a compressor/limiter first.
  19. All true points you make. How do they compare in regards to build quality....? (<------that's not really a serious question)
  20. Damn! Wish I saw this earlier... only one set of what looks like fked side skirts left!!!
  21. So long as you do it somewhere you're not risking killing anyone but yourself.... go for your life
  22. Regardless of whether Rann has supposedly brainwashed the public against hoons or not, residents are going to call the cops when this sort of thing happens in their area. I know that I'd be calling the cops too (and have done so for less) if someone was ripping skids in my area or street. You don't have to be a Rann lover to get pissed off by dickheads driving like wankers.
  23. Sounds like it was a top cruise, what surprises me having read all this is that some are surprised sapol wanted to get involved at some point. I'm no angel but I've seen the way many many import drivers drive their cars and there's no way known I'd go to one of those cruises and get myself associated with knobheads that are going to make the whole group look bad, regardless of whether you were doing the right thing!
  24. Cables that aren't grounded/shielded correctly will cause headfks.... and they're expensive for good ones!! I pretty much make all my own cables these days because of it
