I understand your concern, I have performed a compression test and it did come up with good results, Im not sure how else it can be tested? The car has never really given me any headaches, I perform most of the work myself, it has never seen a mechanic. Im located near Blacktown.

Brass button is fine... its a little harsh during traffic but you get used to it... it was in the car when I bought it over a year ago.

Christian, From what I remember you will have to get a blue slip done which will involve you getting a weigh bridge certificate, take that down with your green slip They will issue you with an interim registration sticker and plates and book you in to go get an indentification check at an inspection station. My memory is a bit sketchy but I dont think I forgot anything. James
