Hi all, I am a beginner photographer. I shot some pics in RAW and when loading them onto my PC (using Microsoft Office Picture Manager) the pics can only be viewed very small. If i change them to jpeg it does nothing. Can anyone help me. I am not at the level of manipulating RAW pics yet was just playing around. There are a few thjat i love and want to edit. Also what beginner programs can i use to view and edit photos? thanks guys.

This is my daily/weekender. If i had the cash to buy a daily POS i would. That way i could do the things i really want to my S14a without having to worry about having it all back together again to get to work.

Yes if you change anything from factory other than your 1 intake mod you will get reemed. I had to take off everything. Zorst, ECU, Injectors, EBC, intake mods, BOV, etc. And still if you only have 1 intake mod you will still prob get reemed. Its all up to the officers discretion. The laws are basically there to wear you down to the point of giving up on modding cars completely. Unfortunaltely this is due to the small amount of flogs that do the wrong thing and make it difficult for us all. When i had my EPA cleared the bloke said it is just about illegal to drive Skylines, Silvia's and the like these days. Anyway this is off topic, there are heaps of EPa Defect threads around. (probably with my rants all over them) Be legal and you will be ok.

Gotta agree with birds there. I have copped 2 defect in 3 months, and one full EPa emssions test. Each time doing nothing wrong. the EPA well yea i cop that on the chin my car was loud (all fixed now) The defects were a rip. tyres and exhaust for the first. The second was for my wiper washes one of the four was not pointing straight. And my hand brake had one too many clicks, and to make it an Major full RWC needed he said my brake pedal didnt have enough rubber on it....WTF? The officer was looking at my car for nearly 20mins, and that is all he could get me on. So that says to me he was gunna get me no matter what. But there is nothing more true than drive like a flog and you will get pulled over. What kills me is we get singled out and painted with tha same brush. My trust in Police has diminished somewhat over the last few months. Anyway........34 GTR.

Check ya timing also. I had a similar iss with my S14. I cleaned the AIC valve, but also realized my Timing was too advanced. I pulled it back a little and is all good now.

Ok. I have taken pretty much everything off. So with my EBC i can just remove the aftermarket boost solenoid and plumb up the stock one? If i just hide the avcr in the cabin somewhere so i dont have to remove all the wiring and crap. Will this be ok? My only question with the intake and exhaust stuff is everything is stock now other than FMIC. Which is my 1 intake mod. And i also have an aftermarket dump pipe, and then the rest of the exhaust is standard. Is this ok?

Can anyone confirm who has had to get the emissions test done recently that a FMIC is ok with standard airbox? I have changed to standard zorst, BOV, etc. Just need to know about the cooler????

I was running a decat. I put my cat back in, and did feel the car seemed to run better or soother with it on. It was down a little in power....but the car felt better to drive.

Hey all. I have had a look at my Unichip. ANd there are 4 or so wires that are spliced into the factory ECU loom. Then there is a black wire going straight into the factory plug on th factory ECU....earth? And also a white wrie doing the same thing? I think it is a simple case of unsplicing these wires and pulling out the black wire and the white wire? Does this sound logical or am i wayyyy off and will end up creating more problems?

Bump. I had some lined up but they fell through. Pretty urgent for these guys. If anyone has any Purple S14 injectors let me know. cheers Aaron

Hey all, Well i just posted this on NS.com, so thought i may as well share the love. So i was driving through Kew with a mate, and i saw at a park a Ferrari show and Shine. So i pulled over to have a look. Heaps of nice cars. Anyway this dude in his immaculate F355 Spider pull out onto the road, he lights em up loses control spins it around and slams into 2 parked cars. Everybody just stood there in shock for about a minute wondering what the hell just happenned. A young dude about 28 yrs old get out. The other two cars where pretty trashed.....both pushed up onto the footpath, while the Ferrari has a fair bit of damage. I felt sorry for the dude, but on the other hand there was kids, and families around, so thats what ya get for being a *richard cranium*. I still cant believe that it happenned.

So they now go to the level of not only opening your kick panel but cracking your ecu also?

I had a look last night. It is an external ecu that has been tapped in to the other wires on the factory unit to obviously change the readings as they pass through. So it looks like i need to remove the spliced wires and re-solder the factory ones so they dont bypass. Yea PFC would be good, but over worrying about defects etc. Dont want anything visible. Looking at going Nistune.

Hi all, I got done by the EPA. I need to remove my Piggyback ECU (UNICHIP). Is it just a matter of pulling it out, and removing the relevant wired up connections? I also have larger injectors, and Z32 AFM. I will be removing these and replacing with stock items. Once these are removed i just reset my ECU and the car will run? Or is there anything else i need to do for it to run off standard computer?
