I recommend you get your self a "turbotech" manual boost tee, off ebay. I did it. Works really well, what ever u set it to, stays there.... pretty impressive. im running it on 10psi.

Im very confident its the starter motor. I had the same problem 2 years ago when i had a FORD PROBE. Same deal, wouldnt start on odd occasions. Changed the starter my self (easy to do) and the problemm was fixed. Give it a go i say

The problem got really bad last night, so i decided to drop my boost from 12 to 9psi, now its fine. Still COILS? well i guess i better start looking....

Spark plug gap has been adjusted to .8mm. Fixed the problem but every now and then it comes back. (usually when i got my mates in the car, trying to impress 'em lolll). Is these any point in trying to gap the plugs to .7 or should i go for the coilpacks?

Gts-t 33 "studdering" & popping noise @ high RPM??? Hey guys, having some issues with my 33 so i thought id get some opinions on what i could look at. All help is appreciated Problem:most times when i take off hard, the car sort of studder and makes popping noise, loosing power at the same time.Usually does it from 4000RPM+. I tried new spark plugs and my mechanic gapped the plugs, that fixed the problem a bit, but not completely. If anyone has an opinion, feel free, ill listen and make up my mind on where to start. Thanks in advance to those who will take time to reply. cheers

Yes sorry it was a Clubsport 250kw VT. I personally am impressed with my car. Bought it dirt cheap, (8G), cooler and 10 psi and i bet a "superr aussie vehicle", da 250 big powa KW, for god sakes its a 5.7 L and we went top end. Im impressed with skylines even if odd people arent.

I have pretty stocky RB25, on 10psi and i blew a VT GTS 250 kw on top end. I was shocked how shit it went.

Update, i installed it, took me 15 min, tightened the nut, car runs 10.5 and eventually reaches 11 by top revs. Extremely happy. Just what i wanted. Thank youU!!

Well i wasnt sure if it was normal so thought id ask. Thank you for all that bothered to reply In any case, i installed a "turbotech" boost controller, and now it sits on 11 the whole way through the revs. Pretty happy now.

Hi guys, I have a pretty stock gtst r33, only mods i have include cat back exaust, filter and apexi cooler. I installed an aftermarket boost gauge and found out that the car runs on 7.5 psi till about 5,000 RPm and then spikes to about 9psi and stops at 10 psi at around 6000+RPM, is this normal, and if not what could cause this?

Hey guys, After reading 20+ pages i decided to get one my self. My aim is to boost it to about 10-12 psi on factory turbo. I will let you guys know how i go with it. I was originally gonna go with turbosmart tee but after reading this topic i decided to get one, paid 37.40 delivered. If it works, it will be best 37 bux spent in a long time... Now all i need is a aftermarket boost controller....

Hey guys my name is Adis, just bought a white 33 gts-t, series II. Loving the car, most fun car i ever owned. Other cars i owned include; Pulsar sss, Honda Integra vti, Mazda 626 and girly rav4 which i ended up giving to my mum, any excuse to get my new car, skyline. Cant belive it took me this long to "grow" some balls and buy a proper fun car. So far so good

I just bought a lightly modified gts-t, 33, and have been doing a bit of fuel tests. Best i got was 10.5L/100Kms, on freeway. Worst i got was 13.2L, that was around city with fair bit of boosting. Id say around 11.6L per 100Kms in on average my car fuel usage. Mods i have is cooler, pod and cat back.

Haha i have a similar story where an old fart (55yo approx) hit me in the car park, and he admitted to it but didnt want to pay for damages because my car "wasnt parked properly, should have been closer to the curb"...according to him???? Anyway this happend 3 months ago, i have his address and so on but hes not paying, do you guys have any suggestions on how to teach this guy a lesson, i mean i fixed up the damage but he thinks he got away with it...?
