  1. maybe something like this.. or turn it the other way around... but u get the general idea any way! and on a gtr style r32 bonnet:) would be nice as
  2. id be interested in cf bonnet or even fible glass, would be really nice to have a big pop up down the centre of bonnet like an old skewl v8 with a vent up the top back to let all the hot air flow back up and out of the bonnet!
  3. what i done was use one of those window shields to block out sun/heat, they not only stop air from going in, but its insulated! test it out yourself put shove a bit directly onto your boiling hot engine and push down with ur hand u wont feel a smidgen of heat! works better then havinga custom metal box made up, what i done was used some plywood board above my pod, cut the window shield into a few pieces, just jammed the plywood just under the side that sticks out on the inside part of the engine bay(side front left quarter panel) then i wrapped the whole thing around with the heatshield! used 4 pieces and some staples + electrical tape to make it look pretty;) lol, i have a front mount so i have the free space where the 2 pipes used to be and is now single so i used a 3 inch rubber pipe jammed it in so it takes air from down under the guard aswell into the space, also incorporated it to shield all the way over the pipe all the way onto the turbo, so none of piping going into the turbo will be hot either! next job i will be heat wrapping my cooler pipe that runs accross the front of my engine just behind the radiator! all that hot air cost me <$10 and works a treat! wish i could probe the temp all i can do is use my fingers to try to jimmy into the non existant gaps and feels alot cooler then engine bay!

  6. i wanna buy some speakers the same size as stock i beleive they were 4x7 or some shit?
  7. ok so if i buy a 30 row one, with a dash 8 fitting could i get all the adaptors and fittings from just jap at kirrawee?, and installing should be pretty easy? i installed my front mount and customed some piping into my car so im pretty sure i could do it, theres now electrical involved?
  8. yeh i have found that you do have to play with it a bit to get a nice settingf or your car, ive adjusted it in and out at times, and stays about the same amount of boost, can be a bit tepremental but once you get it where you want it, it works extremely well!
  9. i installed this blow off on mine r32 gtst!! running 15psi atm i have ran it upto 21 psi with no drama! works a treat
  10. wtf is a v mount?! why not just get an fmic!
  11. i reckon it would be your spark plugs, iridiums suck balls!
  12. ive heard of 220rwkw with std injectors
  13. the stock actuator's run 11psi afaik the air restriction from the tiny exhaust's make u run about 7psi
  14. i would also be interested!
  15. thinking about buying an oil cooler and installing into my car, now its a fairly standard set up, walbro pump, 450x300x80 cooler, air partitioned and insulated k&n pod, 3.5" turbo back kakimoto exhaust, std turbo (altho i have a high flowed one sitting on my floor when i can be bothered going through hell to put it in!), 500hp walbro pump, bleed valve, turbo smart stage 2 blow off, running 15psi and thats about it... so yeh for this set up considering its pretty standard, first off what woul i have to do to install one? where would be the best place to mount it? any recomendation's on the cooler to get? maybe second hand off something else? where do oil lines etc have to be joined? could any one please help and if any one could offer rough idea's for pricing also the same for oil catch can
  16. when roughly would one of these boost on an rb20det?
  17. i know some one who mad 240rwkw with one on 19psi brought it on ebay for like 700 brand new or something stupid but he rebuilt it once and then it blew up again, now looking for a new turbo also no good for rb20, wont hit boost till after 5000rpm
  18. mmmm, cooler oil = cooler turbo = more power and higher possible boost for my small highflowed t28/30 or whatever the hell a skyline turbo is? would that be correct?
  19. ok wat about an oil catch can and an o\il cooler?
  20. whats the go with the re maps tho? how long do they last? if it will only last for a few weeks to me its not worth the money
  21. i just beleive that a remap wont really last long? or am i wrong in beleiving this?' also you think the cams/harder valve springs would be a good option
  22. i have have a fairly stock rb20det, basically all it has is a walbro fuel pump, 450x300x78 fmic, stock turbo, pod, boost tap, 3.5 exhaust with stock cat(yeh i know lol im too lazy to get the f**r off* otherwise id have a new one on by now, service it every 5000km and it runs like a dream, no probs cept vacuum pipes splitting on me all the time, running turbo on 14psi never pings, runs smooth as a mother! had a few probs when my spark plugs got to old was misfiring a bit, but now ive accidently ran stock turbo on 20psi! and i didnt notice for like 3 days cause my brother mainly drives it, put it back down to 14 psi still fine! runs like a dream any way! so had everything checked out and the engine is top notch, so im just wandering what should i do next, i have a high flowed r32 turbo sitting in my wardrobe i was thinking about installing it, i was just wandering.. i know the stock turbo's are watercooled correct? should i put in a oil catch can and oil cooler? also was thinking about bigger valve springs and cams, and no i dont have an ecu also any othe rsuggestions on what i should do on my tight arse budget! ive managed not to spend over 1000 so far, got her completely stock
  23. vin diesel stole my baby
  24. also may sound stupid, check your oil level where any vacuum hoses changed? i know i had problems when i used bigger hoses for my turbo's bleed valve and blow off set up, started causing a lil drama's also take out those irridiums and get some ngk copper plugs, ull have less drama's
  25. that said i just looked at my high flowed turbo, the rear wheel looks cleaner and the shaft barely moves, probably not even .5mm
