looks real good with the black rims. i havnt painted them yet but i dont mind getting the proper paint as long as they last for 2 years and then im getting rid of the car to buy a gtr. i have no sanded the rims with 80 , 150 and now next is a quick 240 then first quick coat of primer then sanding again then primer again and then 3 coats of the gloss black and it should look sweet

yeah there was some primer on special at repco the vht brand i bought it today but the only problem is its white but im planning on doing 2 to 3 coats on the rims so hopefully if i do scrape them white wont show lol...

lol the prep is killing me my hands are screwed from sanding and im a painter by trade and i do alot of sanding so the sanding should come up pretty sweet. iv used 80 grit so far and now im using 120 then going to 200 lightly and then going for the primer hopefully it rusn out sweet.

Hey guys im currently in the middle of painting my rims and i went down to supercheap picked up some things and came across the cans and i asked 1 of the guys there if i can use the caliper paint on my rims. He wasnt sure so he asked some woman which said yeah you could now im not sure who is right and who is wrong but seeing as i wanted to start painting the rims this week i picked up the paint its 3M Caliper Paint. it says at the bottom its for calipers , break drums and wheel hubs.

bought a hi powered century battery today was 169 dollars. had a problem with my positive battery terminal theres that much rust not even wd40 can undo the washer to remove it so i used a screw driver to slide it off the old battery then hit it with the back of the screw driver to sit back on the new battery

loll thats exactly right mad082 it happened to my mums bf's 4wd when he jump started it something along those lines. its funny because he was talking to me awhile back about a racing car his dad had and that he worked on yet he doesnt know anything about jump starting a car.... thats typical wog parents for you lol

im pretty much forced to buy a new battery because my mums bf is a moron because he thinks ill stuff up the aurions ecu or something. I had jump started the car at my uncles where i left the car and drove it back here which was a big mistake because my mums bf is a real idiot

my family is really stupid when it comes to cars i asked my mum 2 let me jump start my car and my step dad goes no it cant stuff the cars ecu by doing it because it happened to his old patrol and i just didnt even bother arguing with him...

yeah im going to go for a century one. ill give battery world a call tomorrow and see how much it will set me back , i just hope its the battery and nothing else lol

Im going to take the car up to my auto elec as soon as somone comes home to jump start me and see if he can see anything further. Nrma wanted $180 for a battery last night and i said no because i have heard there quality isnt good for the price you pay so now i have to find somewhere for a good decent battery lol...

I took the car on the m5 for 10 mins up towards east hills then back down to Riverwood. I had also removed my head unit so there was no power at all other then the trip comp running.

Well i went for a holiday for a month and i left my skyline with my uncle and long story short my grandpa got involved and didnt close my door properly and the car wouldnt start. I got there today and i went to unlock the car with my alarm pad and nothing so i opened it with the key and rolled it down the drive way and jumped it with my uncles car and it turned on first click. After i went for a 2 min drive on the highway to charge the battery and after coming home i turned the car off and tried to crank it over and it woulndnt start but this time my alarm and the lights worked. Im just wondering what the problem is , nrma have told me its the battery but why does the alarm still work and all the lights including my head lights? Or is it my alternator?

i wouldnt mind coming down to watch. id enter mine but it wont go nowhere lol

good job on buying it i love my r31 and its bonus coz it was a silo with the lsd
