  1. What Nismoid was saying, is the current positioning of your blow off valve is OK. You can leave it there. He's running it in the same position as you are - on the turbo side - and believe me, he's running high power. If it's ok for his application, then you won't need to change it any time in the future. What I meant, was if for any reason you have to redo all your piping, you should move it closer to the throttle body. Otherwise, just leave it.
  2. For almost the same amount LESS in cost, it's well worth it. Only downsides of running E85 is availability...makes long trips risky.
  3. ^^ rofl love that last line.
  4. Kinda happy that my ECU comes blank lol....even though they could just dump a base map onto it and tune WOT, it's more incentive to do the job properly!
  5. PM details to anyone who wants them imo. Just don't let on that you've done so lol Piece of shit should have his house looted by 10 guys with bats one night...
  6. He's saying it's fine where it is now, but if you had to choose where to put it then you'd put it close to the TB as possible. It's fine for now.
  7. Coz going through a bit more fuel is a deciding factor after you've just spent thousands building an engine, right?
  8. yeah fair enough, no real point then. all G
  9. Any reason I wouldn't wanna do that? lol as Marko said, I kind liked it
  10. My 044 mounted in the tank only ever makes an audible sound when priming...otherwise you can hardly hear it while the car's running
  11. EDIT for spoiler removal.
  12. Rich and Retarded. When the ECU detects airflow has increased past a certain point, it does that to protect the engine. It assumes that something has gone wrong and the turbo is going to continue building boost, so it retards the ignition timing and dumps heaps of fuel into the engine. This feels like you just completely took your foot off the throttle.
  13. At least I know I'll never be replacing my pump, injectors, or ECU. lol.
  14. A friend on here told me of his Nistune tuning not long ago. The tuners had apparently done WOT tune and nothing else. The rest of the map was pretty much standard. I lol'd at the lack of effort from this tuner.
  15. haha I don't know tbh, say....$30? That's a very wild guestimate mine you...just trying to remember how much exhaust shops tried to rip me off for a short cut of stainless...
  16. Yeah, it also turned out my factory pump was just some walbro. Haven't looked at it, and it looks tiny tbh. Otherwise, I might be hanging onto the stainless pipe for now mate, as I'm sure you agree it's still very useful. If you actually want it to make yourself something, then by all means you're welcome to buy it as random stainless piping. Will be cheap of course.
  17. Oh is he? lol my bad
  18. Also Phil, does your list take into account people buying more than one? I can see a few people have said they'll take two, so this should count for 2 hence bringing price down as we'll hit 30 earlier this is assuming it's the seller offering the discount.
  19. also, count me in on your group buy mang. Canberra owners, REFER TO LINK IN PM-R33's SIGNATURE AND GET IN ON IT!!!!
  20. Put me down for 1 Phil!!
  21. If your passenger doesn't mind turning up after most other people, perhaps do a quick swing by the formal in another vehicle to see how harsh the inspectors/police are being towards other obviously retarded cars passing through - give yourself an idea of whether you're gonna be raped or not
  22. Unfortunately looks like you're right mate...shame, but ah well - at least he didn't blow your engine up!
  23. without a wideband definitely get it dyno'd to be sure, not worth risking it by a guess. Still good to hear
  24. As title, looking for an RB26 BOV. Newer the better, as I don't think there's any difference really between the model it's from. Would need postage to 2904 (Canberra) and happy to pay that on top, given the price is decent. PM or reply in thread. Thanks.
